NCR's Upcoming Fly Zone The upcoming Jewar International Airport is perhaps going to be a wonder in the aviation world when it’s fully functional. Becoming one of Asia’s biggest airports and having six runways when fully operational. The expertise by Tata Projects along with Zurich International Airport has made this project a game changer. Not only in the world of aviation but also business, economy and real estate. Much before the airport’s Phase 1 launch, property prices are seeing a sharp rise in the areas of Faridabad, Greater Noida and the Delhi-Noida-Delhi Expressway region. While the real estate market is already seeing a sharp rise, the commercial and retail sector is in a sharp position to see their numbers skyrocket. With 1,02,000 sq. mts. of space available after Phase 1 opening of the Jewar International Airport, the brands are going to see a notable rise in the business. While the agenda of Jewar International Airport was to relieve Indira Gandhi International Airport’s load, DXN (Jewar International Airport) seems to be taking its own stand in the commercial aviation world. Bound to have six functional runways when fully operational, the Indira Gandhi International Airport will share the airspace by creating a win-win situation for not only the authorities but also travellers in the North India region. By creating an ease of catching flights in the Uttar Pradesh region from a world class airport, the passengers will be relieved to travelling a much shorter distance to catch flights. The commercial space available inside the terminals is going to play a key role in ‘on-ground sales’ of the airport, creating a big market space for not only established, but also new and upcoming brands. The major advantage of large availability of area is bound to ensure that every terminal sees good numbers of footfall. Thus, justifying every brand’s presence, be it F&B or Luxury & Couture. Not only does it open employment opportunities for those in the regions of Uttar Pradesh, the Jewar International Airport is becoming a feather in many caps by its massive area, state of the art technology and most importantly, relieving the Indira Gandhi International Airport from a lot of air-traffic. #IRHPL #Opinion #JewarAirport
