An existing 7000 Cr Food Product. A 100 Million Consumer segment that can't have it. What if there was finally an innovation that did that? India's first Bhujia that is tested to be Low GI is here. And even better, its baked and roasted; not fried! Diabetics, unlike most D2C consumer segments; start at 45+ age bands. 2 things happen there: They are less willing to try new products and form factors (like Cereals, Bars, Powders); and have a strong affinity for Traditional Indian savory snacks. India's Savory snacks market is 50,000 Cr+, of which Bhujia and Sev land around 8,000-10,000 Cr. And most Diabetics are asked to avoid them; key reason being the quantum of Carbs and heaviness of Frying. DiabeSmart Baked Bhujia solves both these issues. Its lower on Carbs compared to a Traditional Alu Bhujia (made with Potato and Starch) and healthier on the stomach since they are baked and roasted. And blind taste pass authentic flavor and crunch. And the first Bhujia to have been actually certified to be Low GI (Glycemic Index). https://lnkd.in/gmkQhind https://lnkd.in/gmDdRuQJ Give this innovation for India from Bajo Foods a whirl and share the word. #d2c #d2cfood #innovation #madeforindia

As a kid, my diet included TV dinners, ultra processed snacks from a box, and sugary drinks filled with additives (OH yeah!🍹). Fast forward to today, and the food and beverage game has shifted dramatically. Consumers are now demanding healthier options with natural ingredients, fewer additives, and more variety. Kombucha and wellness teas are now mainstream, and energy drinks that offer genuine health benefits are on the rise. For emerging brands, this is the opportunity to level up. If your brand aligns with these values and offers authentic, health-conscious products, you’re well-positioned to capture the attention of today’s conscious consumers. I for one, cannot wait to see all the new brands like this that enter the market in the years to come. Some of my favorite brands include Marquis, IQBAR, poppi, Oats Overnight, ROAR Beverages Canada What are yours? 📢 #FoodAndBeverage #HealthAndWellness #Sustainability #Innovation #StartupGrowth

Ozempic is fuelling changes in the Food and Beverage Industry 👀 Not surprisingly, or very surprisingly, the increased penetration of Ozempic and anti-diabetes and anti-obesity drugs is changing how consumers behave and shop: ✅ Drinking more water and protein Beverages ✅ More mindful shopping ✅ More at-home cooking, less food waste ❌ Drinking less sodas and alcoholic beverages ❌ Less impulse purchases ❌ Less shopping trips ❌ Less out-of-home shopping What does this mean for brands? 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 are becoming less relevant than 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀. 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 will become dominant for this consumer segment. 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - to counter Ozempic's side effects - is the name of the game in beverages. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 is a sought-after extra benefit essential for these consumers, as loss of muscle mass is a common side effect of the drug. Let's continue the conversation! 🗨️ How has Ozempic's rise affected your shopping habits? Or, as a brand, how are you adapting to these shifts? 💡 Like, share, comment with your thoughts, and follow me for more industry insights. 👍🔄🔔
