I Help Entrepreneurs & Startup Founders Boost Growth: 100M+ Users | Founder @ DOWN (15M+ Users) | Creator of The Outrageous Growth Method | Follow me for Growth Marketing Insights

I spent 4.5 years working at Microsoft. It was a great place for a fresh-outta-college grad to learn some structure and good engineering examples. However... It was also a stifling environment for me. They only saw me in one role, with little ability to influence product or business decisions. I craved more impact: on the product, on users, and on the world. ⤷ I felt like I wasn't fulfilling my true potential, because I was conforming to their role for me. So, I decided to take a leap of faith, quit, and eventually co-founded "Bang with Friends," which later became DOWN. Looking back now, it's been a rollercoaster ride: ➜ We struggled with fundraising in a landscape that felt like an impossible maze. ➜ We navigated legal hurdles that threatened to blow everything up. ➜ We faced app store bans that threw a giant wrench in our growth. But today: ✔ I’m more resilient, ✔ I'm more adaptable, ✔ And more confident. (about changing the world for the better, in my own little way) Looking back, I see that every setback was really just a setup for a comeback. It’s like they say, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. ⤷ Persistence, adaptability, and learning from setbacks—that’s what truly defines success. Repost this if your own career is defined by persistence. ♻️ What challenges have you faced in your journey? Share your stories below! 💬 #DOWN #challenges #success

Inspiring! Failing at something is part of growth and learning, so remember that when you fail, at least fail FORWARD. Learn from your mistakes and use those lessons to your advantage
