We are woven energy. Thoughts, beliefs, fears, emotions, behaviours. It’s all energy. Plaited together like a rope into fixed habits of being. Our energy gets stuck in the same rehearsed ways, the rope gets tighter every day through the same patterns. But Your breath is energy And Your breath shifts energy. It can unravel the rope, the way the energy of your thoughts, emotions and behaviours weave together. The breath unravels the energy so you can up-cycle it and plait it together in a new way. A way that aligns with who you are now, and who you are becoming. To become that new version of yourself, you must first loosen the tight ropes of energy that hold you in the past. Here's a quick morning routine that'll have you feeling laser-focused and bursting with energy in just a few breaths! ️ Save this post for later and try it tomorrow 1️⃣ Double Inhale: Take a deep, invigorating breath in through your nose, filling your belly with air. Imagine you're inflating a balloon! 2️⃣ Double Exhale: Now, purse your lips and slowly release that air through your mouth, exhaling twice as long as you inhaled. Feel all the tension melt away with each exhale. 3️⃣ Muscle Up: As you inhale, clench EVERY muscle in your body for a second. Think fists clenched, core engaged, toes scrunched! 4️⃣ Let Go: As you exhale, completely relax all those muscles, releasing any built-up tension. Stepping Into Stress. #movember 15/30 This week, I’ve been exploring how breathing less, slower, and deeper can help us feel less stressed. But here’s the twist: every morning, I breathe hard and fast for 20 minutes to intentionally stress myself out. Why?! One of my favorite practices to start the day is inspired by Tummo breathing, a powerful method that uses breathwork to create balance and energy. Why do this first thing in the morning? It quiets the often-negative chatter of the mind, shifting me into a present and open state for the day ahead. Tummo breathing is brilliant if you’ve ever struggled with meditation or grounding yourself. It takes your focus away from racing thoughts and reconnects you with your body, helping you fully embrace the present moment. Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing the exact breathing technique I use every morning. It’s a simple practice that takes me out of my head, back into my body, and helps me start the day energized and free from the weight of yesterday.

🌱 Not Every Ground is a Battleground 🌱 Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is simply breathe and allow ourselves to be held—by the earth, by our own strength, by our capacity to restore. Living in a constant state of “fight or flight” exhausts our nervous system, robbing us of our intuition, creativity, and joy. Caring for ourselves means knowing when to lean into rest instead of resistance. Here are a few simple ways to reconnect with a calm, grounded presence: 1️⃣ Breathwork: Start with a few deep, mindful breaths each morning. It’s one of the simplest ways to bring balance to your nervous system and shift out of “fight or flight.” 2️⃣ Embodiment Practices: Gentle movement, like dance or stretching, helps release tension stored in your body and reconnect with your inner strength. 3️⃣ Connect with Nature: Take a few minutes each day to step outside, feel the earth beneath your feet, and allow nature’s steady energy to support you..or connect with nature through a cup of grounding tea. Some grounding herbs are Ashwaghanda, Dandelion Root, Ginger, and Cinnamon. Remember: not every step forward requires a fight.
