LeMesurier Project, under the 2Zero Partnership, aims to establish a framework for monitoring and evaluating progress towards achieving zero-emission road transport by 2050. Coordinated by E3-Modelling Energy-Economy-Environment and Ricardo plc, it will track the effectiveness of 2ZERO activities in meeting targets outlined in the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. LeMesurier will share its findings with stakeholders and policymakers, fostering collaboration. The project will draw on lessons from past initiatives, including ERTICO - ITS Europe’s projects, and collaborate closely with other 2ZERO projects to magnify overall impact. At KANSAI HELIOS, we had a big September for our Sustainability Team! We presented at two key events: at TBMCE 2024, where we discussed our life cycle assessment approach, showcasing how we support our customers and R&D teams in working toward more sustainable products. At the 30th Annual Meeting of the Slovenian Chemical Society, as invited speakers, we shared KANSAI HELIOS' Sustainability journey and highlighted our commitment to sustainable products and goals. We concluded with a call to action, focusing on the key innovation areas needed to advance the chemical industry before 2050. Meo Carbon Solutions is proud to announce that we are officially kicking off the CLEVER project, which aims to transform the way greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are calculated in the transportation sector. We are partnering with an international consortium of experts and stakeholders to address the challenge of establishing credible and standardized emission factors for all transport modes, fuels and production methods. The CLEVER project will create a comprehensive methodology covering the entire energy lifecycle—from production to end use. The project's framework will ensure consistency in calculating emissions for new energy sources, adaptability to industry changes and accurate and quantifiable emissions data for both policy and business purposes. Meo's role is to support the project with our expert knowledge and long-term experience in GHG emission calculations and developing and managing sustainability certification schemes for different markets.
