🌟 Navigating the Journey as a Fresher in DevOps 🌟 ... . I recently had an interview where I was asked about Docker layers—something I work with almost every day. Surprisingly, I realized that while I was familiar with building Docker images, I hadn’t really stopped to understand the exact terminology or the underlying process. For those unfamiliar, Docker layers are the individual steps that make up a Docker image. Each instruction in a Dockerfile (like RUN, COPY, or ADD) creates a new layer. The magic happens when Docker uses these layers to cache and speed up future builds, saving time and resources. The lesson? You don’t have to know everything right away. What matters is your curiosity, your drive to learn, and your ability to pick up new things as you grow. As freshers, we’re constantly learning and improving. Whether it’s getting better with tools like Docker or preparing for interviews, every experience makes us stronger. 💪 Here are a few tips for anyone on this path: Don’t be afraid to admit when you don’t know something. Focus on learning from every experience, whether it's a success or a learning moment. Keep practicing and improving your skills day by day. We’ve all got this! 🚀 #DevOpsJourney #Docker #Freshers #KeepLearning #PersonalBrand #TechCommunity

📌 Getting Started in DevOps and LLMOps as a Fresher📌 ❓ One of the most common questions I encounter is: "I’m a fresher. How do I get started in the field of DevOps and LLMOps? Where should I begin, and which resources and tools should I use?" I had the wonderful opportunity to address these questions during my talk at Jaypee University. It’s always an incredible experience to interact with young, bright minds filled with curiosity and ambition. Engaging with students is more than just sharing knowledge—it's about exchanging ideas, inspiring one another, and shaping a better future together. I hope my session provided valuable insights and guidance for those looking to embark on this exciting journey. 🚀 My DevOps Learning Journey🚀 As a fresher with a passion for technology, I've embarked on an exciting journey into the world of DevOps. Over the past few months, I've been diving deep into various tools and practices that are essential for creating a seamless and efficient development environment. 🔧 Key Highlights: - AWS:Gained hands-on experience with core AWS services, including EC2, S3, and RDS, learning how to deploy and manage scalable applications. - Linux: Strengthened my Linux skills, from basic commands to managing servers, understanding that Linux is the backbone of most DevOps operations. - Docker: Containerized applications using Docker, making it easier to develop, ship, and run applications consistently across different environments. - CI/CD: Implemented continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, automating the process of code integration, testing, and deployment. - Monitoring & Logging: Learned the importance of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and how to set up effective logging systems to track application performance and issues. 🌟 Next Steps: I’m eager to continue expanding my skills, particularly in Kubernetes, Terraform, and exploring the security aspects of DevOps. My goal is to contribute to innovative projects and help bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth, automated processes from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey! 🚀 #DevOps #AWS #Docker #Linux #CI/CD #Freshers #LearningJourney #Tech

A must read for all the Devops enthusiasts!
Some tips for people who are in the learning phase of Cloud-DevOps: 1. Say No to Labs. Trust me Production scenarios have no relevance with 99.99% of the labs out there + you build the habit of not deleting the resources. 2. Don’t learn everything just for swags. Your time is valuable, don’t waste it in collecting a piece of cloth with a brand logo on it. 3. No need to buy any outdated courses & subscriptions. Don’t fall for FOMO. 4. Certifications are good but build at least 1 active live application. 5. The DevOps role isn’t for freshers. Join as a cloud engineer, gain some experience and then transition into DevOps. 6. Find the right mentor. This can change your entire career trajectory, find someone who does everything out of love, instead of money. Don't worry if you can't find one, I too had none.
