It's tomorrow!!!!!! The day where compliance training gets rebuilt and reframed to support the peoples champion... THE LEARNER. Our first Build Along Session is on tomorrow at 12pm Aussie Time. We have 82 registrations and I know some of you just want the replay, but that is totally epic! The session will run like this. 1. Identify the problem 2. Put some terms and conditions around what we are going to build 3. Show the end product (desired state) 4. Delete the end product 5. Rebuild it during our time together (Laur builds and I talk) 6. Little Q&A as we go 7. Post session share the preview, the template, the replay and the SCORM. Ambitious? Why not! It's not too late.. head over here to register and even if you can't make it, jump on so we can share the replay with you.. https://lnkd.in/gF5mJNzr

When you have a clear and well-defined strategy, you can create a [proactive] enablement program that will be much more effective. 🤝 Your enablement program should directly support your company's overall objectives. What are your top priorities for the year? How can enablement help you achieve them? 👥 It's critical to understand your audience. Who are you enabling? What are their needs, challenges, and goals? Tailoring your program to their specific requirements is essential for success. 🚫 You need to have a plan in place to identify skill gaps. What skills does your audience need to excel in their role? Are there any knowledge gaps that are hindering performance? 📈 Your strategy should include measurable goals. Don't just plan activities; establish clear, quantifiable goals. This will help you track progress and measure the impact of your enablement efforts. 🔢 ... and to stay proactive, prioritize. Given limited resources, it's important to - in partnership with your stakeholders - focus on the most impactful initiatives. What will deliver the greatest return?
Your enablement function might be reactive if... - Stakeholders come to you, hair on 🔥, demanding an immediate solution. - The only solution is to "run a training" or "build more content." What do you do to stay proactive and get out of the reactive? I like to ask the tough questions 🤔 - Why do you need this? - What impact will it have? - What's the gap? - How will we know we accomplished the goal? What else?

When you update your product or have a new product you want to share, you need to train your customers on that product so they will be happy. Unlike role-based training where you teach someone a new job skill that your product invented, product use training should be readily available and is better served through on-demand training. Let's explore why!

Just finished the learning path “Aha! Product Management Professional Certificate”! Here are 3 high level takeaways from this course: -Ensure early alignment and continuous involvement of key stakeholders throughout the product development process (not doing this can throw you off down the road). -Adapt your communication to different audiences to foster buy-in for your team's common goals (you're not your team's boss - you're their leader & solution expert). -Truly empathize with users and translate research findings into understandable documentation for your team (it's your job to bridge the gap between cross-functional teams). Finally, this course illuminated how my 4+ years in Property Management essentially paralleled Product Management. A Property is a Product, with occupants as its consumers, highlighting the need to effectively communicate a shared vision to diverse stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and execution of projects. If you have any insights to share about #ProductManagement or #Tech (or if you just want to chat), feel free to DM me! https://lnkd.in/eayGsWZa #productmanagement #productroadmapping #productstrategy #technicalproductmanagement.
