**Thank you, Service Design Global Conference 2024! #SDGC24 ** It was my first time attending, and I absolutely loved it. Also, first time in #Helsinki #Finland —the land of blueberries, the happiest people (even if they don’t show it), karaoke, black licorice, chocolates, snow, and rocks. 🌲❄️ I had some great takeaways: - Learned about logic models and the difference between outputs and outcomes. - How systems thinking works best when you visualize it with circles and arrows. - #Circulareconomy: While our linear systems are extremely efficient, we need to rethink how we design and use products. Lets create delightful circular experiences. And guess what ...? Service design can help 😉 Shoutout to Gaëlle Le Gélard for the inspiring presentation! - Huge thanks to the #Metso Designteam for their warm hospitality and the introduction to the impact model. Hopefully their next step will be mining landfills for #sustainability, anyone? Lastly, I was inspired to hone #servicedesign as a craft. SHU (Keep the form), HA (Detach from the form), RI (Find your own form)—everything clicked after this presentation. Already excited for the next global conference! 🙌 #Innovation #humancentric

This is how the change happens. On Tuesday we held the first workshop of the Nordic Circular Design Programme for 31 companies. Executive track workshop was run by Ethica Finland and focused on the market changes and EU regulation. The R&D track workshop was by DDC – Danish Design Center focusing on circular product design strategies. On Wednesday we held the last workshop of the Estonian Circular Design Masterclass for 10 companies together with BDA Consulting, EIS and 10 Estonian Design Leads. I got to experience how the mindsets start shifting. What previously was unknown or seemed impossible, starts making business sense. This is how the change happens.
