Flashback to 2015, my public speaking debut in an inter-university competition. I stepped onto a stage for the first time ever! I never expected to win, but I did! The experience was surreal. From the preparation to performance, I embraced the process of crafting and delivering speeches, seeking feedback from my teachers and friends, and learning from it all with a growth mindset. To this day, I still carry that lesson of bravery with me like a shining armor, empowering me to tackle new challenges and pursue excellence. #PublicSpeaking #Competition #PersonalGrowth #Courage"

Whether we are in university or the workplace, presenting to an audience is a skill we will need throughout our lives. Effective presentations help us convey our ideas clearly and concisely, enabling us to break down complex information into understandable chunks, ensuring our audience grasps the core message. Last Tuesday, I had the opportunity to learn about business presentations and effective communication when doing a presentation with Ms. Alison Thackray through Bangkit’s English Class. It was truly a great session! During the class, we learned about the structure of a good presentation, techniques to prepare an effective presentation, and tips on presenting. Mastering the art of presentation is an ongoing journey. Every presentation is a learning experience, and I’m eager to continue upgrading my skills. Here’s to more engaging, impactful, and confident presentations in the future! #LifeAtBangkit

🌟 Hey LinkedIn Fam, 🚀 Thrilled to announce that I recently attended an eye-opening online lecture by Shayan Pal Sir, who is currently serving as the DGM of Industry Relations and Career Services for the BS Degree program, IITM on "How to Ace your Self Introduction". 🔍 Why this Lecture was very fruitful for me or what are my key takeaways from this Lecture? 1) Master the Art of First Impressions 2) Body Language Secrets 3) Craft Your Unique Story 4) Engage and Impress 💡I would also like to share some key points to remember while giving your Introduction:- 1) Use some adjectives 2) Talk about your journey so far 3) Skills 4) Your Personality 5) Short Term, Mid Term and Long Term Objectives 🚀 What struck me most was the idea for the importance of Self Introduction in your Life. It plays a vital role in upbringing your life. It is the first impression for 90-180 seconds which is going to decide your future. It is used for many things like Building Professionalism, Bosting Confidence, Networking, First Impression, etc. 📚 If you are reading this post till now, I wish to give away 2 more points to add if you wish to your Self Introduction:- 6) To tell the recruiter that how you become your current version and what challenges did you face in your life. 7) Who do you idolize and why?! But, it must be an influential personality so he/she can connect with them. If you feel like how can I gave my best shot with Self Introduction practices, then no problem I got you. All you have to do is Prepare your Intro like above and practice infront of mirror 2 times a day and change and adapt to it. Communication isn’t just about talking—it’s about making a connection, sparking ideas, and creating impact. My recent journey through the "Art of Communication" class at Masters' Union, led by the incredible Shivangi Naralo, has truly transformed how I approach every conversation. From understanding the nuances of tone and body language to mastering the art of persuasion, this course was a masterclass in unlocking the power of words. It wasn’t just about learning how to speak—it was about learning how to inspire. The skills I’ve gained have already started influencing how I interact with others—whether it’s pitching an idea, closing a deal, or even just having a meaningful conversation. Big thanks to Shivangi for creating such an enriching and impactful learning environment! #MasterTheArt #CommunicationElevated #LearningToInspire #MastersUnion #GratefulForGrowth

Three Ways to Become a LEADER in Communication Career Pathways 3.0, organized by Farhana's Brainstation, has successfully conducted the 4th workshop on Communication Mastery with Instructor Muhammad Nayeem Akhter. The synopsis is, eagerness to learn transcends the scrambled internet connection. Insights extracts from this session are- 1. Compassionate and genuine interest are the first fundamentals to intertwine with active listening. 2. Clear & concise messaging helps to organize the conversation, while constructive feedback is sure to strengthen the process. 3. Body language radiates positive persona & makes oneself open for stimulating conversation; keeping the personal boundaries in mind. The biggest take-away is: putting oneself into new situations and not repeating the mistakes thrice. Human beings are social creature; also quite complicated one. Each of their experiences are there to enlighten the other. Thus, making mistakes and learning lessons from those seems one of the dominant way of becoming a maestro. #verbal_communication #21stcentury_skills #farhanasbrainstation #non_verbal_communication #communication_skills #Nafisa_Sultana #Active_Listening

Excited to share that I have qualified as one of the top 6 finalists in my college's recent book review competition! It was an incredible experience as a first year BBA student to delve into the intricacies of the selected texts and present my insights alongside other talented participants. For those looking to enhance their public speaking skills, here are a few tips: Practice Regularly: Consistent practice builds confidence and reduces nervousness. Know Your Material: A deep understanding of your topic helps you speak more naturally and authoritatively. Engage Your Audience: Use eye contact, ask questions, and involve your listeners to keep them interested. Work on Your Delivery: Focus on your tone, pace, and body language to make your speech more compelling. Seek Feedback: Constructive criticism from peers and mentors can provide valuable insights for improvement. Looking forward to continuing my journey and learning more along the way!
