CO2BioClean GmbH’s Post

Reflecting on the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) meeting in Brussels this week (and the tiring, 90 minute delay on the Eurostar coming home, ggrrrr 😞) I was impressed by two things: firstly, the number of potential investors in the room. There were at least 20 representatives of venture capital and seed funders all looking at a broad spectrum of innovation, including ours. CO2Bioclean was approached by several potentially interested investors for our 2025 capital raising round. Secondly, I was highly impressed by some of the pitches. There are some amazing start ups. Naturally CO2Bioclean is the best 😁 but perhaps we're biased. Seriously though, seeing some of the new inventions and technologies entering the market is really encouraging because it makes the dream of a cleaner, more liveable world seem less of a fantasy. From eliminating microplastics to quantum computing in AI there were so many to choose from. Being an investor is not easy- which ones actually have a plan to come to market and expand into viable businesses ? That the EIC has already funded all those who pitched this week is an indication at the very least, that these companies are considered potential growth industries. Exciting for the founders, investors and above all, for us, humanity. Well done Fabiana Fantinel for your strength and stamina in an exhausting schedule.
