vtx:think Cough and you will miss it. Respiratory tract disease in dogs and cats can be linked to bacterial infections, either primary or secondary, and often leads to the use, and sometimes the incorrect or excessive use, of antimicrobials. Unlike human medicine, there is a lack of comprehensive treatment guidelines in veterinary medicine for these conditions. To address this gap, the International Society for Companion Animal Infectious Diseases assembled a Working Group comprising clinical microbiologists, pharmacologists, and internists. Their aim was to share experiences, analyze scientific data, review clinical trials, and formulate guidelines to aid veterinarians in selecting appropriate antimicrobial treatments for managing bacterial respiratory diseases in dogs and cats. Are you ready to breathe easier for your respiratory cases? Our respiratory course starts on Wed 1st May 2024, BOOK YOUR PLACE: https://lnkd.in/eBfdEDCT Purchase this course individually or redeem a free course as a member benefit through membership.
