A question I can't stop thinking about… What did you do as a child that made the hours pass like minutes? I believe so much of adulthood is about trying to reclaim the curiosity, joy, and passion for life we had as children. One of the best ways to do that is by reconnecting with an activity that made time fly when you were young. A sport. A hobby. A creative pursuit. For me, it's making music. Yes, I used to make music. No, you can’t listen to it—lol. I've recently started a DJ course to reignite some of my music-making joy and pick up some new skills along the way. My challenge to you: Reply to this with your answer to the question above. ♻️ Repost this so we can spread the conversation. 📌 If you like this, you’ll love my newsletter. Love this. This is also one of the best ways to give yourself the rest you require. Colby Kultgen
A child-like sense of wonder is a common frame of mind for all life-long learners.
Sometimes we get so caught up in responsibilities that we forget how important it is to nurture our hobbies. Great reminder.
It's fun to have a business that's a passion, but not all passions are monetizable. Make sure it's an intersection of "I like doing" and "I get paid for doing"
Having a beginner's mind is so important when approaching any task. Amazing share!
Colby Kultgen for me, it was reading - bringing back that childlike joy can change everything.
I used to talk to myself a lot, and now i made it my job - crazy ha! 👏
For me, it was playing football. There’s nothing like that feeling of being in the game!
Curiosity kept our fires burning, and unfortunately, we lost that in the craziness of the world. Keeping curious has been the biggest leverage for me!

3moI'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I used to write a lot of poetry... For those of us old enough to remember AOL, my screenname forever was PoetryMan5 😅 I don't think I have thought about this at all the past 10+ years. Hell of a prompt Colby Kultgen. Maybe this is why I like posting on LinkedIn? Okay I'm going to go hide under my desk now bye!!
