🎓 From law to...tech?! 🤔 When people in my current professional circle learn that I'm also a lawyer, they're both impressed and confused—'why?' they ask. ❌ Contrary to common belief, legal education is NOT about learning specific cases or statutes, but rather, about 'processing large amounts of information and exercising judgement.' 😎 This makes lawyers fit for any role that involves leadership and strategic thinking. Here's three skills I've honed as a lawyer that give me an edge NOW: 🎯 Strategic thinking: lawyers learn one thing above all; to infer patterns and predict outcomes—a useful skill when navigating industry dynamics in tech. 🔧 Adaptability: lawyers must expect the unexpected. 🌟 On LinkedIn, law often gets a bad rep, but in my humble opinion, it’s the best profession in the world. 🌟 Yes, it’s incredibly hard. If it weren’t, more people would do it. And yes, there’s a lot about the legal profession that can and should be improved. But let’s not lose sight of the privilege we have to be part of a profession that helps people, solves problems, and creates lasting impact. For me, law is not just a job, it’s a vocation. It’s a privilege, and one I will strive to show up for every single day. I believe every lawyer (not just juniors or aspiring lawyers) should have a similar mindset. At its core, law is about service. We get to:
 ⚖️ Provide clarity and support for vulnerable people in moments of uncertainty. 
🤝 Resolve disputes and build stronger communities. 
💡 Shape the laws and systems that define fairness and justice. I understand that some people view such positivity through pessimistic glasses, but this outdated mindset needs to change. The legal landscape is evolving, and if you’re not adapting, you’ll be left behind, and it’s no surprise you won’t enjoy the work. A proactive, positive mindset is essential to thriving as a lawyer and achieving the best results for clients. I believe that to serve at the highest level, we need belief in solutions, the drive to win, and the willingness to grow with the profession. Change isn’t just a challenge; it’s an opportunity. #Law wasn't always my first choice. Other things fascinated me—staring at a laptop screen for hours, diving into books, endless reading, endless memorizing—but I always felt drawn to activities that connected me with people. I love talking and helping others, and initially, law seemed distant from these passions. But over time, a new perspective emerged. I realized that as a #lawyer, I could combine my love for connecting with people and my passion for making a difference. #Drafting #contracts, for instance, became not just about legal technicalities but about protecting and empowering clients. Each document was an opportunity to bridge the gap between complex legal language and practical, human needs. Working on #business #contracts, and #legal #advocacy has shown me that law is not just a set of rules—it's about connecting with people, understanding their needs, and making a meaningful impact on their lives.
