I just filled out the "State of Facilitation Survey" (link in comments, below.) One of the last questions was, "What is your vision for facilitation in 2025?" Such a great question! Here's what I wrote... "The gifts of facilitation for the public sphere are being seen and utilized; more and more facilitators are helping to design and support inclusive, community-building, participatory efforts at local, state, and national levels." Each time we come together, one of the members facilitates a short session, showcasing their style and getting in some practice in a safe space. And then we share some useful notices (work we’re aware of, interesting training, new articles out) and have some social and networking time together.
