Abilene, Texas: where economic development takes businesses to new heights. This week the Development Corporation of Abilene (DCOA) celebrates Economic Development Week. The DCOA builds the future Abilene by reinvesting money back into the community - multiplying one dollar into many. On average, for every $1 invested by the DCOA into company expansions, the company is investing $47 back into the Abilene community - generating new dollars and jobs in Abilene, Texas. The association's core activities include sharing experiences and perspectives on current technical, economic, legal, and social-political issues within the electrical industry.
