𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴? 😱 During menopause, your body becomes incredibly sensitive to changes in blood sugar levels—and it can greatly impact your health. 🧬 Here’s what you need to know: 🌱 Blood sugar spikes not only lead to weight gain but also cause your body to age faster. 🌱 After eating, your body produces insulin to convert sugar into energy. But when sugar intake stays high, your body stores it as fat instead. 🌱 This process, over time, can lead to insulin resistance—making it nearly impossible to lose weight and throwing your metabolism out of balance. But here’s the kicker—glycation: imagine glucose molecules like kids running wild on a playground. 🎠 They crash into each other, causing damage. That’s glycation, and it’s the same process as aging. Your body is literally slow-cooking from the inside out, just like when you roast a chicken and it turns brown! 🍗 The good news? You can slow this process, feel younger, and shed unwanted weight. 🌟 ✨ 𝗜’𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿, 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵. 💃 Hey Resilient Health Rebels, especially those navigating perimenopause or menopause! Did you know that a recent study in JAMA found 40% of U.S. females between the ages of 12-21 are deficient in iron? 🩸 But here's the kicker—iron deficiency can exist without anemia, and standard screenings often miss it. Why does this matter for you? Because many women go through life with fatigue, low energy, or hormonal imbalances, thinking it's normal aging. But iron deficiency might be a hidden culprit, and it’s often missed unless you specifically check your ferritin levels. Focus on optimal health ranges, not just "normal" ranges. 🩸 Ask your provider to test for ferritin—a simple blood test that can help unlock the energy and vitality you deserve. Low levels can be improved with the right diet and supplements! ?? What do you think the most common symptom of iron deficiency is ?? Drop your guess in the comments, and I'll reveal the answer! #ferritin #irondeficiency #hormonalbalance #womenshealth #energyboost #metabolicreset

How do you reduce cortisol levels to allow you to lose fat during perimenopause and menopause? As a health coach I have worked with hundreds of clients reducing their cortisol levels making it much easier for them to lose fat during their 40's and 50's. I am 52 and do this daily. ✅start your day with no sugar electrolytes, then coffee!! Making sure you are hydrated with minerals not just water!!! 80% of the population is dehydrated making them feel tired, hungry, moody and feeling like they have dry skin ✅stop doing HIlT training, orange theory or F45 and switch to heavier weights with rest breaks!! You will be stressing your body in a good way and changing your body composition to shapely. ✅start walking daily, manages stress and reduces cortisol being outside. Replace time on cardio machines with walking! Try for 10K steps!! ✅reduce or eliminate alcohol. Alcohol is enemy when trying to reduce cortisol ✅increase your protein intake. Try for 120-150g a day. This depends on your weight and activity ✅no caffeine after 11am. Allows you to sleep better at night! get enough sleep consistently 7-9hrs a night ✅make sure 85% of your diet is whole foods Be consistent with the above and you will see and feel a change. It will be difficult at first but you will feel so much better!!! You will also be able to fit your clothes again which is always a great feeling! #cortisol #losefat #feelyourbest #buildmuscle #lookyourbest #nevertoolate
