DocuSign and OneNotary have entered into a formal partnership to integrate OneNotary into DocuSign’s range of notary solutions. The lead time for investors to respond to credible founders even through warm intros, or to close the loop after a call is insanely long - weeks - and there is no standard or mechanism within firms for a time bound reply. In fact, the larger the org the longer the wait. There was one today for example, it took 6 weeks. The founder raised from a Tier 1 VC last time, sold the business, and has raised most of the current round for his next. It will be oversubscribed. Still waiting for a reply to a Series B founder who has closed half his round (two weeks). Even after the wait - and countless follow-ups, the reply is often just nah. We’re not sure why but this is not for us! 1. The deal you missed is the deal you weren’t referred to, because of past vanishing acts. 2. The longer you take to reply the less busy you are.
