Our commitment to mental health and safety has been highlighted in Service Stream’s latest Sustainability Report, spotlighting our dedication to creating a safer, more supportive workplace. Our Onsite Psychology service by Axis, introduced as winning idea of Safe Work Month 2023, continues to provide our team with accessible, confidential coaching and workshops to support mental wellness. Additionally, a physiotherapist from Bodycare Workplace Solutions visits once a week to support injury prevention and overall wellbeing. These initiatives are helping us build resilience and strengthen our team culture. For Safe Work Month 2024, we expanded our wellness efforts with a SAFEtea presentation and Leadership Workshops focused on mental health awareness. These activities equip our leaders and team members with the skills to support each other and encourage open, meaningful conversations. Our ongoing Environmental, Social, and Governance efforts and ConnectSydney’s own Sustainability Policy demonstrate our commitment to creating a positive impact and lasting legacy for our people, communities, and the environment. Our recent ISC Operations Rating of 47.3 points underscores our dedication to sustainable practices. This high score, which surpassed our initial KPI, reflects our team’s positive impact in driving long-term change within the industry. Each of these initiatives reinforces ConnectSydney’s dedication to a sustainable and supportive workplace. Thank you to everyone who makes these programs possible! #Sustainability #SafeWorkMonth #MentalHealthSupport #EmployeeWellbeing #ConnectSydney #ISC #SustainablePractices #ConnectingPeopleAndPlaces Safe Work Australia Find Service Stream's Sustainability Report here: https://lnkd.in/ev7s7U_3 (Contract Manager Ben Smith and Sustainability Lead Hamidreza Hasheminasab receiving ConnectSydney’s Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) accreditation award. Today marks the start of World Wellbeing Week 2024, a key topic for Impact as #wellbeing has always been a pivotal part of our programmes. We asked our team what wellbeing means to them - a quick question that we'd encourage all leaders to ask to hear what their teams and individuals need to focus on their wellbeing. Here is what our team said: https://lnkd.in/gFgW5t38 #worldwellbeingweek #leadershipdevelopment #employeewellbeing

𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 Thankful for another 10K with my daughter, this time to celebrate my birthday! The race theme was donuts---the t-shirt reads "𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐬", the medal was a donut with sprinkles, people wore donut glasses, donut socks, etc. It was hilly and hot, but there were donuts at the finish, and lots of super-nice fun people running their best while encouraging others, so the race was 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥! 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲. Employees are more likely to ignore safety rules or shortcut safety if they are unwell or struggling. See this post on gallup.com for some notable ideas on how to assess the wellbeing of your employees: https://lnkd.in/gEp_rhQU "Gallup’s overall wellbeing metrics measure life evaluation by tracking thriving, struggling and suffering rates among employees. We also measure daily negative emotions, burnout and how much employees believe their organization cares about their wellbeing."

Last week, a few of our Wellbeing Leaders Community came together for a special end-of-year celebration dinner. It was an evening filled with laughter, connection, and a reminder of the power of play, community, and belonging. So often, we meet in professional settings, tackling the big challenges of workplace wellbeing. But stepping into a different space—sharing stories over dinner, seeing each other beyond the confines of the roles we hold—reminded me why this community matters so much. ❤️The real magic happens when we create spaces where people can truly belong. It’s in these moments of shared humanity that ideas spark, relationships deepen, and our collective purpose strengthens. As we move into the new year, I’m more inspired than ever to keep building this community alongside all of you. Together, we’re reimagining what it means to lead with wellbeing—not just at work, but in life. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hosting a webinar on holistic wellbeing with the amazing Amehlia de Lange – the Global Wellbeing Lead at CHEP– a Brambles company. First, Amehlia was one of few speakers who are not only knowledgeable but have the uncanny ability to deliver a message so clearly – something that one craves in the times of possible webinar fatigue. Second, this was a further proof of how invested global Top Employers like CHEP are in the wellbeing of their employees. And this makes me proud! There were so many points Amehlia made that left an impression on me. But I wanted to share some of her thinking, experience, tips & tricks for the wider LinkedIn community: ⭐ For well-being to be holistic you should consider a multi-year strategy – otherwise you are talking about a plan or an initiative ⭐ Well-being is truly a holistic topic and encompasses so many aspects that it no longer matters where it sits – within or outside of HR ⭐ Collaboration with other functions is vital for success but that with the line managers is the most impactful ⭐ To drive success of your well-being strategy it needs to be embedded in all business decisions: from sustainability to customer related business strategies ⭐ Senior leaders’ involvement is key ⭐ Global strategy does not mean the same applications across board, rather it enables you to personalize ⭐ Personalization, personalization and personalization – from regions, to countries, to the factory floor ⭐ Quality over quantity! ⭐ To get buy-in from the managerial layer, equip yourself with data! Look around what you already have – is your engagement score telling you something? What about uptake of volunteer days? Dive deeper to identify the root causes. ⭐ Most importantly, keep listening to your employees! Amehlia also talked at length about how the Top Employers benchmarking and insights guided them in the right direction and the credibility helped their business case. This story made me smile because it is true the gold mine that is our data can do wonders for a people strategy. On that note, I am super proud to share that we have launched 🎉new insights sessions🎉 to help in either action planning or deep dive into a topic that ties in with your priorities – all to help Top Employers elevate their strategies and future-proof their practices. Among these we also cover Wellbeing: developing a holistic strategy and driving ROI. 🙌🥳If you are a Top Employer and interested to learn more, feel free to reach out and ask me about IGNITE session on Wellbeing or send an email to clientsuccess@top-employers.com 😊 Special thanks to Rebecca Lundin and Eve Lacomblez for organizing the webinar and content. 🤫 Here’s a little secret about the Wellbeing Leaders Community 🤐 There are no secrets 😂 That’s right. What’s made this community so successful isn’t competition or exclusivity… It’s the open and generous sharing of trade secrets, stories, and strategies. It’s a space where internals (HR execs, leaders, and employees championing wellbeing) AND where externals (service providers and wellbeing experts) come together to learn from and with each other. Why does this work so well? 💡 We put people first, work second. Every conversation is human-centered, not just problem-focused. 🤝 We’ve created a safe space for genuine dialogue, where you can show up authentically. 🌟 Our mission is rooted in something real: a shared belief that workplace wellbeing isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s essential for thriving organizations. The result? 👉 Opportunities to connect learn and gain valuable insights. 👉 Everyone walks away feeling a little more inspired, equipped, and connected. Sound good? —this community is for you. Here’s how to join us: ✅ Sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop: https://lnkd.in/d-PpP7nw ✅ Join the waiting list for our next Wellbeing Leaders Mastermind session in Jan: https://lnkd.in/dTM5CJPN Together, we’re redefining what it means to lead wellbeing. And we’d love for you to be part of the journey. ❤️

🌟 Join us in commemorating World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28! At FRISK, we believe in fostering a culture of well-being that goes beyond just risk reduction. The International Labour Organization and the World Health Organization emphasize that workplace health encompasses physical, mental, and social aspects. 💡 Research consistently highlights the positive impact of physical activity on work performance. Employees engaging in regular exercise report higher job satisfaction, increased energy levels, improved concentration, and enhanced creativity. Moreover, physical activity contributes to reduced stress, better time management, and increased resilience to work-related challenges. 🚀 To promote well-being, we offer tailored initiatives: 1️⃣ Mental Health: Raise awareness, offer counseling, and create a supportive environment for open discussions. 2️⃣ Physical Wellness: Access fitness classes, health challenges, gym facilities, and nutrition workshops. 3️⃣ Work-Life Balance: Introduce flexible work arrangements and resources for stress and time management. 🤝 While top management spearheads safety efforts, HR, Facilities Management, and Employee Relations play vital roles in supporting individual health. Prioritizing health and safety not only safeguards lives but also enhances overall productivity. 📈 Let's collaborate to design your next well-being program and create a lasting legacy of safety and productivity together!
