Biodiversity. Now! - Creating near-natural areas together The Biodiversität. Jetzt! association aims to promote biodiversity by enhancing near-natural areas in urban settlements.   The association's "information campaign", supported by Somaha Foundation, is raising awareness for biodiversity through multiple waves of communication each year. #30x30 is all about action 🎬 for people and nature. We cannot halt and reverse the global decline in biodiversity with a genuine shift in the paradigm of how we go about conserving our natural world. #Act30 is an initiative of IUCN, guided by the International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity (IIFB) and powered by Esri. Together, we will support Act30 countries to demonstrate leadership on the global stage through achieving 30% hand-in-hand with Indigenous peoples and local communities. #Act30 looks to: 🧠 Listen to, strengthen and streamline the role of traditional knowledge in conservation decision making; 🌳 Ensure meaningful conservation outcomes for biodiversity through strengthening effectiveness with the #iucngreenlist; 👐 Guarantee rights-based approaches and full and meaningful dialogue with all actors, especially those holding customary tenure; 🌏 Empower governments and conservation communities to revolutionise their use of data and acquire spatial mapping technologies; Now is the time to #act30.

Multifunctional landscapes allow humans and nature to coexist harmoniously. These landscapes were highlighted at the 7th Investment Case Symposium organized by the Global Landscapes Forum on 25 October. These landscapes are key to achieving the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework vision of a world living in harmony with nature by 2050.
