Conversant’s Post

Due to our deeply rooted survival instincts our brains often magnify threat. This applies in situations that are actually life threatening, as well as perceived threats in social settings. So, whether you're reacting to a mountain lion on your path or your boss saying "we need to talk" the visceral responses that happen in an instant are often the same. Patrick Kennedy breaks down these four common bioreactions, how to work with them in the moment, and how to recover more quickly. https://lnkd.in/gTrnMj6J #bioreaction #presence #fear #awareness #recovery

An incredibly relevant post and topic, especially as many organizations face the reality of end of year results, performance reviews, and making plans for the coming year. The 4th quarter of the year can be especially stressful and bioreactions prevail. Being present to them and recognizing they are natural can help us all to ensure we are showing up as valuable in relaxing times and in stress!

Short and to the point. So helpful in a world that quite often seems to stir us up and threaten our interests, identity, or well-being.
