Building trust is also important, with 72% of individuals more likely to give if a charity rating badge is displayed. The data also dives into online giving habits. Mobile giving is on the rise, with a quarter of donations made on mobile devices in 2022. Interestingly, December is a prime time for donations, with 30% of all online giving happening that month! Monthly giving is another trend, accounting for nearly a third of all online revenue. The average monthly gift is $25, and recurring donors tend to stay engaged for longer.
