🌍 Enhancing Sustainability Reporting with ESRS Set 1 XBRL Taxonomy and Seahorse 🌍 The EFRAG has developed the ESRS Set 1 XBRL Taxonomy, a powerful tool for the digital tagging of sustainability reports in a machine-readable format, aligning with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This taxonomy ensures that the digital format accurately reflects the human-readable ESRS Set 1 standards. Key features include: * Concepts, labels, references, presentation and definition linkbases, and validation rules. * Detailed guidelines for Minimum Disclosure Requirements (MDR), using typed dimensions to relate Impacts, Risks, and Opportunities (IRO) to Policies, Targets, and Actions. * Extensible Enumerations (EE) for relating targets and metrics. * A reporting scope dimension, including Milestone and target years members, for comprehensive reporting. These new taxonomy characteristics present filing and tagging challenges for companies still getting familiar with ESEF reporting, especially in tagging notes and disclosures. Tools like Seahorse are here to help manage these challenges. While some AI capabilities for XBRL tagging can assist, they won't solve all issues, particularly with typed dimensions and extensible enumerations. We are committed to providing our clients and partners with user-friendly AI solutions that simplify these new challenges. Our goal is to take the burden away from time-intensive manual tasks and save you time.
