Maybe I’m just too close to it and it seems obvious to me? I'm asked all the time by Advisors trying to decide if they should start marketing: "Not sure if it's worth it or not?" Here’s the best explanation I’ve got: If you want to grow your business above and beyond where it stands today and today’s current growth rate; What are you doing to make that happen? Are you top of mind with the people that you want to do business with when they’re ready to do business? 👆 This game is very simple, however getting it right is hard. If you have a great service and are putting the right message in front of the right people, consistently, you will succeed. If one or more of those is out of whack, you can struggle. Bottom line.
Simple, yet not easy.

4moThe best advisors I know aren’t marketers. They’re advisors ! They’re laser focused on the market and serving their customers. And that’s not a bad thing! Agreed ^^ it’s almost impossible to grow beyond their current customer base when they’re not outwardly telling their story. They’re almost forced to market themselves if they want to grow. I think the real opportunity in advisor marketing is for services/software companies and how they can quickly/easily get advisors and teams from 0-1.
