Thinking of Commercial? There are various types of commercial real estate to consider and each type has its own market forces and risk vs return profile. Main groups to consider are: - Heavy industrial – such as factories, distribution centres and large warehouses. - Light industrial – usually a workshop or small warehouse with a reception/showroom at the front. - Retail – a multi-storey building or mall, a block of shops or an individual property. - Offices – anything from a small property to a building that’s designed for office workers. - Short-stay accommodation – motels, rural pubs, serviced apartments, backpacker lodges, hotels and luxury retreats. #markevans #bayleysnz #bayleyshawkesbay #altogetherbetter #commercialproperty #realestate #realestateagent #propertyinvestment #napier #hawkesbay #commercialrealestate #bayleyscommercial #napierbusiness

This machine amazes me. It’s found in almost every amenity space (hotels, apartment complexes, offices, etc). I’m pretty sure it’s about $800/month. BY FAR the most used amenity based on what I’ve seen. Does $800/month get 80% of the amenity satisfaction? #realestate #commercialrealestate #coffee

This could be a visual metaphor for the stalled development of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District across Rotherham and Sheffield. While Haworth continue the expansion of the vibrant new community of Waverley on the site of the old Orgreave coking plant, in the five years since The Star reported that the founders of the AMRC had “suddenly left” the R&D institution they had made into a global brand because of a “clash of culture” with The University of Sheffield inward investment into AMID has all but come to a halt. The big private sector inward investments deals of the Allen/Ridgway era - including McLaren Automotive Ltd (£50 million); Rolls-Royce (£100 million); Boeing (£40 million); UK Atomic Energy Authority; Nikken Kosakusho Europe Ltd, MetLase and so many others — seem a distant memory. But that should change following the £160 million Investment Zone funding from Whitehall to stimulate advanced manufacturing in the region, and the yclose to £1 million from DLUHC for Sheffield City Council to accelerate the growth of AMID some two years ago. Such investment should galvanise efforts from the public sector and anchor institutions to support private sector engagement once again in the region’s advanced manufacturing innovation district ( the Compass project is largely taxpayer funded with no guarantee of a production facility being built in South Yorkshire and, despite the fanfare, the £7 million loan-turned-investment in Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd is seen by some in the industry as speculative). Thus far the only semi-public indication of where the money will be spent is cash for Sheffield’s two universities to creat new R&D facilities for its spin outs and start ups to scale up and grow. The Innovation Spine, as it has been dubbed, is a welcome addition to the innovation landscape in the region, but this VC funded cohort of would-be unicorns can hardly be considered an engine of inclusive economic growth. With spin outs and start ups having been nurtured in Sheffield over the last three decades, it is hard to recall any that are now household names. Anyone?
Who is going to sort this one out? Harworth Group plc RTS Contracts and RTS Construction Neil Searle (Stapleford Ventures) RBH hospitality Marriott International? https://lnkd.in/e-vf75Xr

The Perigon - The sophistication modern Miami has yearned for. That sophistication is not the room service coming from its private on site restaurant by Shaun Hergatt. Nor is it the several thousand feet of amenities, wellness centers, pools, private beach club, and 5 star service shared between only 70 or so families. It is the lack of compromises made across the entire project. There are no shortcuts being taken. This is a marvel of architecture, as OMA managed to give every single unit a view of Miami Beach's breathtaking ocean. Residents are gaining appreciation for their outdoor space, now more than ever. The Perigon supports that view point as the smallest depth of balcony is 12', OMA has made an emphasis on the outdoor indoor living concept of these units, and when you have great weather why wouldn't you!? The elegance carries into the interior spaces where Tara Bernerd & Partners do a fantastic job at creating a warm, lively, modern grace about the property. Starwood Capital Group & Mast Capital coming together to do something truly special. Don't hesitate to reach out for more information regarding the project! We would love to work with you to get you in the right project for you! _____________________ Article by: Florida of Tomorrow _____________________ #Homebourse #longmiami #miamibeach #realestate #newdev #newcon #newproject #construction #miami #miamiboom

Building (houses, commercial and industrial buildings) is a business. Builders and developers will only choose to build something if there is an opportunity for a commercial return (profit margin, tenancy or capital growth). In this instance (as with most of the other vacant sites across the central city) reflect the lack of commercial opportunity in Christchurch, or at least particularly in this location. There are signs of an increase in demand for commercial space in the central city...especially key sites...but outside of Oxford Tec, Hereford St, Colombo St, Lichfield St, there are few opportunities. There is increasing talk of new hotels being developed...which is welcome (although will have an inverse impact on Airbnb properties)...but I doubt that there is any significant demand for more retail or office space in the wider CBD at this time. Earnest Duval is a smart operator, and if he sees an opportunity, then he will rebuild, for sure.
