AuMEGA Metals (formerly Matador Mining Limited) has now defined 37 targets within the district-scale land package along both the Cape Ray Shear Zone and Hermitage Flexure in Newfoundland. As a result of the workshop, nine new targets were identified based on geophysical and geochemical data previously collected and re-interpreted. Of the total targets that #AAM has identified, 30 are in the early stages of exploration while five targets are in the intermediate stage and two in the advanced stage, both of which we are currently drilling within the resource corridor. Galileo MiningLtd (ASX:GAL, OTC:GLMGF) managing director Brad Underwood joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the company’s encouraging results from its reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Norseman Project in Western Australia. In August and September, GAL conducted 2,100 metres of drilling, targeting geophysical and geochemical anomalies. This work resulted in the discovery of #palladium and platinum-bearing sulphide mineralisation in zones near the Callisto resource. Significant results include 8 metres at 0.21 g/t 3E (palladium, platinum, gold) from 128 metres (NRC505), 20 metres at 0.18 g/t 3E from 180 metres (NRC502), and 36 metres at 0.14 g/t 3E from 128 metres (NRC501). The results support two mineralisation models: Callisto-style sulphide mineralisation and mineralisation at the boundary between mafic and ultramafic rock units. From Bulls N' Bears with Matt Birney: The Company says its new Curiosity target at the Southern Porphyry prospect sits 550m below the Santa Maria gold workings and is about 1km in diameter, with a depth of 2km where the diameter of the target increases to 2km. Management is planning to conduct deep drill-testing of Curiosity in the second half of the year, with the work to be funded by expected VAT returns. Diamond core results included 13m at 1.03% from 50m, including 5.5m at 2.25%, over 16m at 1.01% from 256m, including 4m at 1.94%. RC drilling extended mineralised pegmatites to the north and south with assays such as 13m at 1.05% from 67m, and 7m at 1.03% from 50m, including 1m at 4.42%.
