This holiday season, we’re reminded of the power of coming together to make a difference. 🎄 Led by Stéphane Auclair, our VP of Marketing, the team recently delivered grocery baskets to families in need across the Quebec region. This cherished tradition embodies the values of generosity and solidarity that define us at Creaform. A heartfelt thank you to Fondation Les Amis de Samuel and Metro Plus Saint-David de Beauport for making this initiative possible. Together, we’re spreading a little extra joy this holiday season. 💙 #Community #Generosity #HolidaySpirit #Creaform

Today, December 3, 2024, is #GivingTuesday. It’s a simple idea: a movement that encourages people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to support their communities. There are so many ways to express generosity on GivingTuesday and every day! Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a stranger, or giving to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give. About GivingTuesday: -GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good. -It is a global movement that reached Canada in 2013. It focuses on unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. It is the world’s largest generosity movement. -The goal is creating an activation that allows people to express generosity in a memorable, impact way. You can: · Host or participate in a holiday good drive in your community, fill a gap in services, or solve an immediate need in your community. · Fundraise for your organization or another organization, take the time to amplify historically under-funded organizations. · Spend GivingTuesday thanking and celebrating your supporters. When I moved to #Sweden in 2020, I was stepping into a whole new worlld, learning the language, discovering Swedish culture, and finding my place. Not long after, I joined #Erikshjälpensecondhand, the largest second-hand chain in the country. Little did I know, this would be the start of an incredible journey. Right from the beginning, I got involved in creative projects that sparked my passion. I worked on #socialmediacontent , created #displaywindows for seasonal themes and festivals, and even curated upcycled clothing collections. This November, as part of our #christmascampaign, we’ve shifted focus to sustainable gift and wrapping ideas, bringing practical solutions to our community. We’ve promoting eco-friendly wrappings and decorations for Christmas. For me, it’s about more than wrapping gift, it’s about wrapping the season in kindness for Mother Nature. This mission aligns with my deep passion for giving back to the community. Starting as a volunteer at Erikshjälpen and now leading the store has been a life-changing experience. What I’ve Learned Erikshjälpen is more than a second-hand store. It’s a place where sustainability, community, and purpose come together. Here’s what I’ve discovered: * Circular economy in action: Donated items find new homes, raising funds for children’s rights projects around the world. And when something isn’t fit for reuse, we make sure it’s responsibly disposed of. * The magic of volunteers: Volunteers are our biggest strength. Onboarding is simple, taking just 15 minutes, but the impact is huge-helping people take responsibility, integrate into society, and even learn Swedish. *Economic impact: Second-hand stores like ours create jobs, support people re-entering the workforce, and boost local economies. Being part of Erikshjälpen has shown me how businesses can balance profit with purpose. The triple bottom line-people, planet, and profit, guides everything we do, proving that doing good and doing well can go hand in hand. Together, we can build a better world. 🌿 #sustainablegiftwrapping #circulareconomy #voulunteering #communitysupport #learnswedish #secondhandmarket #preloved #erikshjalpen
