CRE is still strong as an investment vehicle relative to other options. The bar chart on the left shows an average of historical 10-year total return for 10-year periods throughout history. The bar chart on the right shows projected total return over the 10-year period beginning with Q4 2023. The obvious difference is the height of the bars on the left side compared to the shorter height on the right side. In both, CRE outperforms the other alternatives. Interesting insight produced by Rebecca Rockey and her team! #capitalmarkets #investmentsales #commercialrealestate #realestateinvestment #realestateinvesting

💼 October 2024 Real Estate Stocks to Watch: Insights from Andrew Moffs 💼 In a market showing early signs of recovery, Andrew Moffs, Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Vision Capital Corporation, has pinpointed three standout real estate investments: 📈 First Capital Realty (FCR.UN TSX): This Canadian REIT is a leader in grocery-anchored, necessity-based retail properties in major urban centers, notably Toronto. Their growth strategy involves monetizing high-density assets and expanding development projects for enhanced shareholder value. 📈 Chartwell Retirement Residences (CSH.UN TSX): As Canada’s largest senior housing provider, Chartwell benefits from rising occupancy rates across Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and B.C. With strategic acquisitions in high-barrier regions like Quebec and Vancouver Island, Chartwell is positioned for steady income growth. 📈 Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT NYSE): A premier REIT in New York City with assets including the Empire State Building. Empire State Realty’s updated portfolio and competitive leasing position have increased occupancy rates, promising growth despite challenges in the broader office market. Also critical in shaping the favorable environment are the Bank of Canada and U.S. Federal Reserve policies that drive stability in lending conditions. 📈 Plus, recent data from S&P Global highlights that Canadian REIT capital-raising has surged 35% YoY, reflecting investor confidence. Explore Moffs’ picks and the broader trends driving a real estate recovery! #RealEstateInvesting #REITs #VisionCapital #AndrewMoffs https://lnkd.in/gCZA_-NC
