Taking a step towards strengthening drought resilience across regional Western Australia, the Cook government has allocated $900,000 to implement comprehensive drought resilience plans. This initiative is a collaboration involving state contributions, the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund, and community consultation. The initiative aims to prepare communities for future droughts, enhance natural resource management, and improve investment readiness. The plans will cover various regions, supporting regional communities with climate change challenges.
