I think most employment lawyers have now considered the Employment Rights Bill! Let’s talk about Zero Hour Contracts?🗣️ Are the government being over zealous by seeking to introduce the requiremrnt for employers to offer qualifying workers guaranteed hours? Research suggests that zero hour contract roles are more sought after than equivalent fixed hour roles. 📖 It feels as though the provisions relating to zero hour contracts are seeking to fix something which isn’t broken? Which wouldn’t necessarily be a problem if the provisions didn’t stand to place a significant administrative burden on employers. What are your thoughts?

We also discuss potential compensation applying where reasonable notice of shift changes or cancellations is not provided by an employer. #employmentlaw #hr #outsourcedhr #employmentrights #employmentrightsbill #zerohours
