Good article, with some statistics to back it up, on the landscape of hiring when it comes to AI. Leaders are facing the situation of additional layoffs, while in turn, necessary hiring in artificial intelligence. "Amid this transformation, tech leaders are also staring at a daunting task – hiring top tech talent. The report based on the poll, also added that three out of five technology leaders (61%) say that emerging technologies like AI have made it harder to source top talent, particularly those with expertise in cybersecurity, data science, and AI engineering." Let us help you in the process in two ways. We have a division specific to AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning talent both for Direct Hires and Contractors for project work. Also, for years we've already provided Cyber Security resources. We understand this "daunting task" and we're here to make your life easier. Trust us with the search, identification, and vetting of top AI talent while making the process super simple. The second way I'd like to help, is by assisting the employees you are forced to lay off in finding a new opportunity where their skills are still needed. What have you got to lose? Let us simplify the process while building a trusted business relationship with you for years to come. E-mail me at danderson@edistaffing.com or message me here on Linkedin. I wanna talk about a specific market gap today – one that’s been widening faster than anyone expected ➡ Finding cybersecurity talent. If you’ve ever tried filling a cybersecurity role, you know exactly what I mean. The demand is overwhelming – in the U.S. alone, we’re looking at 469,930 job postings for cybersecurity roles, and the talent to meet it? Just isn’t there! Globally, the gap is even more staggering, with an estimated shortage of 4 million skilled professionals. And if we don’t address this soon? That number is expected to skyrocket by 2030. Now, why is this happening? Mostly because cyber threats are evolving at an unprecedented pace. One that's way too fast to educate, train, and onboard enough skilled professionals in time. This issue is also largely driven by advancements in artificial intelligence, which is yet another challenge in itself. As AI continues to evolve, it's not just creating new threats. It’s also creating huge opportunities for businesses sitting on goldmines of data that could be turned into something truly valuable. But there just aren't enough niche professionals - data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI architects - to take that raw, complex data and transform it into predictive models, automation systems, and business strategies that make a real difference. Or, are there? 👀 Well, hear hear - there ARE professionals who can fill this gap. In fact, at PEOPLE FOCUS doo, we’ve been actively partnering with two exceptional IT companies that specialize in sourcing these niche AI experts and you can check our AI-as-a-service here: https://lnkd.in/dXEnxCwr Oh, and that cybersecurity talent gap challenge? Massive, truly - but here's a spoiler: We're working on tackling that one too. 👀 So #staytuned and brainstorm with me on this one until then: How we can better address this shortage of niche IT talent? I’m all ears! #AI #DataScience #MachineLearning #TalentShortage #Innovation #FutureOfWork #TechTalent

Yes, your job will be replaced by #AI. Well, it depends on what type of roles you have. If you don't have a college degree, it is even more possible, so keep listening to the influencers how you shouldn't need a degree. This interview (which is linked in the comments, because LinkedIn algorithms) was pretty wide ranging, but comes together. Too many people don't understand that AI is really just a set of mathematical formulas combined with the ability to process big data, which is becoming more possible now with the advent of faster computers. The more people tune the AI algorithms, the more your job is at risk if it involves fundamental decision making or if the person doing the function is unnecessary. This isn't just McDonald's workers, but programmers, stock traders, SOC analysts, etc. People who can program and tune AI algorithms, will be in hire demand. The more education you have, especially in mathematics, the more in demand you will be. There is a difference between a technician and an engineer, and if you want to stay employable, you need to understand that difference. This interview with Alan Shimel on Techstrong Group TV was great in how we were able to cover the relevant topics in a short period of time. #Cybersecurity #CyberJobs

Another #AIjobs update from Kevin Fumai! Also, I want to second Kevin's thoughts below - I share positions (esp. #privacyjobs and #inhousecounsel) because I feel everyone deserves a chance, not just the people with the "right" connections/network. Do not self-select, get out there and apply!
Lots of new #AIgovernance and adjacent jobs. Some have asked how I see so many. The answer is easy: I like every job that comes across my feed, and that causes the LinkedIn algorithm to send more my way. Even if you're not looking (like me), taking the same approach will have clear benefits. For starters, you'll help your network see an opportunity that may be of interest to them. You'll earn a reputation of service that stays with you over time. You may even inspire others to follow your lead. While that should hopefully be enough, by starting now, you'll help set yourself up for success whenever you're ready to look for a new opportunity. What's the worst case? A hiring manager you don't know decides to look at your page. But isn't that a good thing too? 🌟 The Evolving Voice of AI: Can We Still Tell the Difference? 🌟 Incredible advancements in AI-powered voice synthesis have brought us to a point where distinguishing between human and AI-generated voices is becoming increasingly difficult. These technologies can now mimic accents, emotions, and even subtle nuances like pauses and sighs—raising both excitement and concern. From replicating voices of iconic broadcasters like Sir David Attenborough to assisting users in real-world tasks like ordering strawberries, AI voices are reshaping how we communicate. However, this same technology poses risks. Voice cloning has been used in scams, deepfakes, and impersonations that threaten businesses and personal security. 🔍 How Can We Spot the Difference? Experts point to a few giveaways, like unnatural pauses, overly consistent breathing, or limited emotional range. But even these signs are fading as AI becomes more sophisticated. As some cybersecurity leaders have noted, the best defense might be listening for context, asking personal verification questions, or simply taking the conversation offline to verify authenticity. The fact that even trained phonetics researchers struggle to tell AI apart from humans highlights how far this technology has come. But as AI continues to learn and evolve, we need to ask ourselves: What safeguards are in place to ensure responsible use? 💡 Takeaway: While AI-powered voices hold incredible potential—from making tools more accessible to streamlining tasks—they also call for thoughtful regulation and vigilance. As we embrace these innovations, let’s remain mindful of their implications and work toward a future where technology serves humanity responsibly. #techinspiration #motivation #nevergiveup #believeinyourself #innovation #startups #successstory #AccentureConsultir #DeloitteConsulting #Google #microsoft #HclAmerica #USAJobs #hiring #lookingforjob #needofjob #lookingforchange #openpositions #openrequireemnts #openjob #greatjob #greatplacetowok #directclient #google #googlesearch #staffing #hiring #post #usitstaffing #staffingindustry #jobs #vendorlist #careers #consultants #data #hotlist #usrecruitment #itrecruiters #jobseekers #usitstaffing #usitrecruitment #contractjobs #contractjob #careers #availableconsultant #availableconsultants #benchsales #c2c #c2crequirements #candidate #candidatessearching #contractual #corp2corp #corps #corptocorp #contractjobs #contractjobs #lookingforjob #connections #Recruiting #openpositions #c2c #contract #ImmediateRequirement #Hiringnow #onsite #onsitejob #onsiteposition #directclient #stateclients
