🌟 Another insightful session with Margo Purcell at our PathwayPro essential skills workshop!
Participants explored how personalities affect working together, using what they learned from their Lumina Sparks assessment. They also talked about their experiences with dysfunctional teams and high performing teams.
Then, the discussion explored the factors that makes teams successful:
😊 Relationship: Building strong connections among team members lays the groundwork for effective collaboration and communication.
🔑 Trust: Trust is the glue that holds teams together. Establishing trust within the team creates an environment where members feel safe to be authentic and rely on one another.
🤝 Conflict Resolution: Disagreements happen, but without trust, conflicts may remain unresolved leading to strained relationships and diminished team effectiveness. Tackling conflicts head-on, with trust intact, leads to stronger relationships and better outcomes.
💼 Commitment: We're all in this together! Commitment to the team's goals keeps everyone focused and aligned towards success.
📜 Accountability: Holding ourselves and each other accountable promotes transparency and integrity, driving team performance.
🎯 Results Focus: Directing efforts towards tangible outcomes, the team is able to stay on track.
Results are not the first thing that makes a successful team but rather results are the culmination of strong relationships, trust, effective conflict resolution, commitment, and accountability.
How do you nurture these critical elements in your teams? Share your insights!
