🔍 The Biomechanics of Clavicle Fracture Deformity: Key Insights for Orthopedic Surgeons 🔍 Clavicle fractures present a unique set of challenges due to the deforming forces acting on the bone fragments. Here’s a closer look at the mechanics: 📉 Distal Fragment: Displaces inferiorly, medially (shortened), and rotates anteriorly. This is primarily due to the weight of the arm, combined with the pull from the pectoralis major and trapezius muscles. 📈 Proximal Fragment: Displaces superiorly and posteriorly.
