As leaders, we are the ones that set the standard for behaviour or the culture in our teams. "Being Seen" is a small step that leaves a big foot print- Be seen doing the hard work, be seen working in the rain, be seen at smoko and lunch time, be seen arriving on time. Be seen being accountable for your actions, and watch your team follow you to greater heights. https://lnkd.in/dYgz9GxX

Just wrapped up an inspiring annual retreat with my colleagues in EMEA, and one statement really stood out to me: 💬 “The standard you walk past is the standard you accept” This powerful reminder hit home. In our work and leadership, we can’t afford to overlook behaviours, practices, or results that fall short of our shared values and goals. Every time we choose to look the other way, we allow a lower standard to take root— and that’s not the path to progress (personal nor professional). Whether it’s addressing gaps in accountability, inclusivity, or performance, we must consistently raise the bar and hold ourselves and our teams to the these standards. After all, it’s through this constant and continuous commitment that we drive true impact and change 💡 Looking forward to putting this mindset into action in our ongoing work! #TeamCulture #LeadByExample #ExcellenceInAction

Simply being in leadership doesn’t qualify you for the job. Be the person your organization and team needs you to be: Their leader. Celebrate the wins. EVERY SINGLE DAY (and my team probably laughs when they see me typing in chat knowing darn well what I’m about to say)… “Shout out those WINS”! Not only does this foster the appreciation of the success, but also the team recognition and kudos that comes along with it. Does it also encourage others to want that very same feeling? Of course it does! It’s easy to focus on the negative and the task and to be a manager. Choose to be a leader and empower your staff and watch the difference it makes ❤️
