Can you create an EVP without employee research? 🤔 One of the challenges of crafting an EVP is ensuring it's true to the employee experience. Whilst for most companies it's a stepping stone to building a better employer brand, your internal audience are key. They are the ones who experience life at your company and if they don't believe the stories you're sharing externally they're likely to express their views. And rightly so. And nothing undoes trust like an employee calling bullshit on their own employer 😫💩 So, extensive research has always been key for me. But not everyone has the time and budget. Would you risk creating your EVP without speaking to employees? Do you already have a clear enough view of the employee experience? Interested in your thoughts 😁 #employeefeedback #employeevalueproposition #evp #employerbranding

Employees love to be in an organisation that walks the talks. Employment Value propositions in Employer brand statements and Employee Experience of workplace misalignment damages the company reputation and the employer brand. Higher the alignment between Employee Experience of workplace of a company and Employer brand, more are the chances of new employee attraction and existing employee retention. In the competitive talent market this alignment offers an advantage to such firms to win the war for talent. The Emoployee Experience Strategy needs to drive the Employer Brand Strategy. Such alignment is missing across many large organisations.
