Today, Natcast.org announced that NSTC EUV Accelerator will be located at the Albany NanoTech Complex, home of the IBM Research Albany lab and operated by our partner NY CREATES. This is a significant moment for the future of American #semiconductor innovation — and it’s also a significant moment for New York State and IBM's commitment to advancing the development #chips R&D in the Hudson Valley. For over twenty years, Albany NanoTech has thrived as a leading hub for chips R&D — so it’s only fitting that as part of the CHIPS Act, the NSTC EUV Accelerator will be established here. At the center, NSTC members will have access to the public-private network of partners and the latest technological tools, including high NA EUV, to pioneer the next generation of semiconductor R&D. We applaud Sec. Raimondo, Gov. Hochul, Sen. Schumer, Sen. Gillibrand, and others who have worked hard to share the story of Albany NanoTech’s track record of semiconductor innovation and unique public-private ecosystem. Bringing the NSTC EUV Accelerator to Albany ensures a continuation of U.S. chip leadership and competitiveness for years to come. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/daec_mri
