This weekend I finally had time to explore and test Unreal Engine 5.4 new feature - Modular Control Rig and fast re-target. It is really impressive how efficient it is. Also adjusting animation to actor scale using layered control rig on top of Mixamo animations. Spend couple of days playing around and doing some tests. Bringing movement in todays update on the longer form animation piece. This is the same workflow as before involving Cuebric, Pika, Viggle, and Fable, based off of Mixamo based animations made in Epic Games Unreal Engine, composited in After Effects, and I’m starting to see some promise with a consistent style transfer setup.
