Organizations with loads of on-premise data are now able to move terabytes of data into their #MicrosoftFabric environment in a fraction of the time it would have taken before. All of this is thanks to on-premise support for #FastCopy, which we discuss in this short clip. Tell me...who's excited about this feature? (I know I am!)

𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘇𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀: A window contains event data along a timeline and enables you to perform various operations against the events within that window. Every window operation outputs event at the end of the window. The windows of Azure Stream Analytics are opened at the window start time and closed at the window end time. Now let's see 2 commonly used Windowing functions: 𝗧𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄: TumblingWindow( timeunit, windowsize, [offset] ) A tumbling window aggregates events with a simple non-overlapping, contiguous and fixed time sized window. 𝗲𝗴: “How many pizza orders I got every 10 minutes” 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄: HoppingWindow( timeunit, windowsize, hopsize, [offset] ) fixed-sized, overlapping windows. A hopping window specification consist of three parameters: the timeunit, the windowsize (how long each window lasts) and the hopsize (by how much each window moves forward relative to the previous one). 𝗲𝗴: “Every 20 minutes, give me the number of pizza orders I got in the last 10 minutes”. If windowsize and hopsize are equals, the hopping window will work exactly like a tumbling window.
