Driving results in animal health: the role of strategic account management in Australia: Australia’s animal health industry is dynamic and demanding, with high standards for livestock welfare, nutrition, and productivity. With years of experience in animal nutrition and account management, I’ve found that success in Australia’s livestock sector means staying adaptable, proactive, and genuinely invested in helping producers reach their goals. To succeed in this industry, an account manager must have a solid understanding of animal health fundamentals. Australia’s standards in animal welfare and productivity are high, and clients expect credible, scientifically backed advice. In my experience, knowledge in areas like animal nutrition, biosecurity, and disease prevention not only builds trust but ensures that recommendations align with a client’s long-term goals. For instance, adjusting feed formulations to fit climate and resource conditions here in Australia often yields improved performance, addressing both sustainability and productivity Every livestock operation is unique, and successful account management relies on a deep commitment to understanding the client’s specific needs and goals. For example, I take the time to get to know each client’s operational and financial pressures, whether it’s minimizing feed costs, enhancing reproductive health, or meeting tight biosecurity standards. Listening to these needs and adapting solutions accordingly has allowed me to build trust and long-term relationships. I believe that an account manager should be a resource clients can count on—someone they know understands their business and shares their commitment to high animal health standards. The Australian livestock industry operates with strict standards and a rapidly evolving focus on areas like environmental sustainability and biosecurity. Account managers who stay informed about these trends, as well as relevant technologies and regulations, provide a strategic advantage to their clients. This knowledge allows them to advise clients on compliance with industry standards and integrate sustainable practices, which is increasingly valued in today’s market. For instance, In the agriculture sector, networking and relationship-building are essential. Account managers in Australia benefit from connecting with local producers, attending industry workshops, and participating in agricultural events. Over time, I’ve found that a strong network not only provides practical insights into local challenges but also fosters partnerships that help clients address issues effectively and meet their productivity goals. Account managers in Australia face a diverse range of livestock operations, from small family-owned farms to large commercial enterprises. Each has unique demands and expectations, which means account managers must be adaptable and responsive.

Future Growth of Animal Growth Promoters and Performance Enhancers Market Download PDF Brochure: -https://lnkd.in/dDqjDNEC The global animal growth promoters and performance enhancers market is projected to reach USD 21.4 billion by 2026, at a CAGR of 5.7%. Animal health products, including growth promoters and performance enhancers, are types of drugs and chemicals used for animal growth. These enhancers help to digest food more effectively and enable animals to grow faster, which, in turn, help to improve productivity. Growth in the animal growth promoters and performance enhancers market is majorly driven by the rising demand for animal consumption and consumption of livestock-based products, rising global demand for naturally produced growth promoters, and rising animal epidemics and climate change. However, a ban on antibiotics in different nations and stringent regulations restricting the use of antibiotics and hormones for growth promotion in animals are expected to restrain the growth of the animal growth promoters and performance enhancers market during the forecast period. #animalhealth #livestock #animalnutrition #feedadditives #animalperformance #growthpromoters #animalfeed #livestockproduction #feedsupplements #animalgrowth #performanceenhancers #farmanimals #livestockfarming #animalwelfare #farmmanagement #feedefficiency #healthylivestock #animalscience #veterinarymedicine #agribusiness #marketresearch #marketgrowth #marketsize #marketshare

USDA to Begin Accepting Applications for Expanded Emergency Livestock Assistance Program to Help Dairy Producers Offset Milk Loss Due to H5N1 Confirmed H5N1 Positive Test Results Required for Recovery Assistance From a Press Release on the USDA website Article excerpts: “WASHINGTON, June 27, 2024 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will begin accepting applications starting on Monday, July 1 through its updated Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-raised Fish Program (ELAP) to provide financial assistance to eligible dairy producers who incur milk losses due to Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, also known as H5N1infection in their dairy herds. USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) expanded ELAP through the rule-making process to assist with a portion of financial losses resulting from reduced milk production when cattle are removed from commercial milking in dairy herds having a confirmed positive H5N1 test. Positive test results must be confirmed through the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL). “USDA remains committed to working with producers, state veterinarians, animal health professionals, and our federal partners as we continue to detect the presence of H5N1 in dairy herds and take additional measures to contain the spread of the disease,” said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. “When something unexpected, like H5N1, threatens the economic viability of the producers we serve, we are committed to finding ways, where we have the authority to do so, to revisit existing program policies and provide the financial support needed to help producers recover and sustain production.’” Link to press release: https://lnkd.in/gQUyKiEH
