#Martian On this sol in 161 (1913 October 18): WHAT DOES MARS WANT? If the inhabitants of the planet Mars are really signaling the earth with blue lights, as Prof. Le Coutre, the Percival Lowell of Switzerland, insists, what can they expect to learn from this unenlightened globe? Of course, the Martians know we can give them, only advice while interplanetary communication is in its present undeveloped state. We might, conceivably, rig up a signaling ma­ chine at enormous expense, and acquire the knack, in time, of answering a few simple questions. But in regard to governing ourselves intelligently, regulating our lives in accordance with well-established facts, obeying natural laws, settling trivial disputes without bloodshed, we can tell them nothing that a people so old and wise as the Martians must be do not know already. In fact, this statement that Mars is looking to us for help of some kind would be saddening if it came from a more authoritative source. We are confident, however, that if the Martians really want to talk to the earth they will call up Prof. Percival Lowell, who is their best friend in this part of the solar system. It is hazardous to assume that the Martians are anxious to talk to us just because they look a trifle blue. We have been pretty blue ourselves lately. —The New York Times, page 12

~SONG OF THE SKY BISON~ Boozhoo! Hello! Biindigen miinawaa, welcome back in my Storytelling Lodge, where there is love and learning! Let's talk space music today. It is a popular misconception that there is no sound in space, which originates from the fact that space is a vacuum, and there is no medium in space for soundwaves to move through. A galaxy cluster, on the other hand, has copious amounts of gas that envelop the hundreds or even thousands of galaxies within it, providing a medium for the sound waves to travel. One of these clusters is the Mashkode Bizhiki, or Bison. NASA recently "discovered" that there is "mysterious, eerie-sounding music" coming from within the makade-waanikaan (black hole). This black hole sits at the center of the Mashkode Bizhiki. https://lnkd.in/gut3pZdk But it is no mystery at all. It is the Buffalo grandfathers sharing their songs with us. Mashkode-bizhiki is translated into English as the Bison. This is the constellation in the northern sky known as Perseus on the Western sky charts. In the winter, the Bison Star can be easily seen, but in the summer she is barely visible because she is on Earth, feeding and helping the Anishinaabeg – who, by the way, do not have a bison clan. How are the different star formations connected in our perception of the star world? Did our ancestors believe that there is a connection between, let's say, the bison and the sweat lodge on earth, and – as a consequence – the bison and the sweat lodge in the night sky? If so, how are they related to the Bagonegiizhik, that hole in the sky called "Pleiades" on Western star maps? To find out, let's first take a look at the the Madoodoowasiniig, or "Stones of the Sweat Lodge" – which, in our cosmology, are part of the Madoodiswan, the Sweat Lodge star formation called Corona Borealis on Western star maps. These stars can be viewed in a circular pattern with the door of the sweat lodge opening to the north/northeast. Madoodoowasiniig rise in the northeast sky in March, are directly overhead during the early evenings of June, and disappear on the horizon in September. The Madoodiswan (Corona Borealis) and Bagonegiizhig (Pleiades) constellations trade places in the sky after about 12 hours' time. But how then, you may wonder, are the Shaking Tent, the Hole in the Sky, and the Bison related? The answer lies in the ancient Anishinaabe belief that the seven stars of the Sweat Lodge constellation represent the seven poles used in the construction of the lodge that hosts our Shaking Tent ceremony. A long, long time ago, the medicine men and women of the Shaking Tent appointed the bison as their guardian. In the same context, the shaking tent acts as a spiritual doorway, similar to the spiritual doorway that is the Bagonegiizhig. This moon, the Perseid meteor shower is extremely active. On an average 60% of the human body is water. And approximately 70% of the earth's surface is covered with water . Out of this >95% comprises oceans. Oceans have been the womb from where life on land was born. We owe our existence to Oceans. And yet we desecrate them - mostly knowingly- this includes all of us who live thousands of kilometres away from the sea. Surprised? Let me clarify. Guess which is the leading pollutant of our oceans? It is PLASTIC According to a report by The 5 Gyres Institute there is an an estimated 170 trillion particles of plastic in our oceans. If that is a little difficult to visualise , then the figure actually translates to roughly 21250 pieces of plastic for every single human being. Our individual contribution of 21250 plastic stems from indiscriminate usage, improper disposal of plastic that finds its way to the rivers , which then offload this plastic junk into our oceans. Wait , this gets more serious - The plastic that we dump in our oceans does not just harm the marine life - they have come to bite us in the form of microplastics. Quoting an article posted on Science News- "In recent years, microplastics have been documented in all parts of the human lung, in maternal and fetal placental tissues, in human breast milk and in human blood. Microplastics scientist Heather Leslie, formerly of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and colleagues found microplastics in blood samples from 17 of 22 healthy adult volunteers in the Netherlands." This just shows how closely our health existence is linked to the health and existence of our oceans. So on World Oceans Day - let us all be sensitised to the unintentional damage that we are causing to our womb and take a conscious effort to lower our individual plastic footprint from the current 21250 plastic pieces today. Mercury was the Roman god of travel. Venus was the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Mars was the Roman god of War. Jupiter was the king of the Roman gods. Saturn was the Roman god of agriculture. Uranus was named after an ancient Greek king of the gods. Neptune was the Roman god of the Sea. Pluto (a dwarf planet) was the Roman god of the underworld. The American Government and the Alien Narrative: A New Chapter in the Mind Games? The U.S. government is once again stirring the pot of speculation and intrigue, this time with claims about aliens, UFOs, and UAPs originating not from the stars but from the depths of our oceans. They propose that these beings have been dwelling underwater for millions of years, which aligns with reports of crafts diving into and emerging from the seas in remarkable ways. But this raises a critical question: if aliens are oceanic in origin, why are the greatest ancient wonders of the world—the Pyramids, the Great Pyramid in particular—constructed with precision aligned to the stars? Why do the most significant ruins and writings of our ancestors point skyward, to the heavens above? Not a single ancient design or scripture references the depths of the oceans as the seat of divine or extraterrestrial influence. The only oceanic myth is Atlantis, the lost continent said to have sunk to the ocean floor. Could these aliens be the descendants of that lost civilization? If they are indeed ocean-dwelling beings, then perhaps this planet is theirs, not ours. After all, Earth is primarily covered in water, and before land existed, the planet was entirely aquatic. Humans, who occupy only a fraction of the surface, might be seen as backward guests, blind to the greater truths of the universe. While the oceans might serve as a base for these beings and their incredible craft, our history—etched in stone and aligned with celestial patterns—points to their origin in the stars. The alignment of ancient monuments with constellations, the myths of gods descending from the skies, and the sheer scale of their influence all suggest that our ancestors believed these beings came from above, not below. Is this new oceanic theory another distraction, another layer of obfuscation in the grand narrative of humanity’s place in the universe? Or is it a clue to something even deeper?
