A focus on the future application and impact of quantum technology on industry and society.

Today’s quantum platforms need to radically scale-up to deliver on quantum computing’s true commercial promise. Innovation to meet this challenge continues to throw focus onto new parts of the quantum stack. Quantum networking technology is closely connected to modularity and so much more central to this quest than is commonly realized. Forward thinking quantum players, ecosystem builders and investors are already charting their strategies to maximize their share of this prize. Read Global Quantum Intelligence, LLC 's analysis of the challenges ahead in this article, or get a copy of our full report Quantum Outlook: Scalable Quantum Hardware The full report deals in-depth with the different technological approaches for modular scaling, and compares and contrasts competitor strategies as the leading quantum players seek to meet this challenge. https://lnkd.in/ewBVJrSs #quantum #quantumtech #quantumcomputing #quantumnetworks

Very insightful article - agree modularity is key to building large quantum systems. Whilst the focus has been on 2 qubit gate fidelities as a key performance benchmark, have not come across much discussion around inter-connect performance which is key to scalable modular architectures. Barring a major breakthrough, modular architecture with high inter-connect performance is key to realising FTQC.

That’s a really nicely worked article - and u are spot on. Getting to a point where enough high quality qubits + appropriate and sustainable error correction = meaningful computation is what it’s all about.

Broadband quantum interconnects, a key building block for modularity. Exactly what our team is building at Miraex :)
