DCC plc’s Post

DTGen, a DCC Energy business, has delivered an innovative cogeneration energy solution for UWC Atlantic College in Wales. Using a TEDOM UK combined heat and power (CHP) unit, which operates on liquid gas supplied by Flogas Britain, this technology offers an efficient and sustainable energy solution, helping to reduce both the carbon footprint and energy costs for the college campus. The solution is future proofed as the CHP unit can also be run on biogas or a hydrogen blend.    What is cogeneration?   Cogeneration, or combined heat and power (CHP), is a system that produces heat and electricity simultaneously in a single plant, powered by one primary energy source. #DCCEnergy #FTSE100 #CoGeneration #EnergySolution
