The 2024 Talent Acquisition Assignment: Do More with Less Whether impacted by staff downsizing or budget cuts, talent acquisition teams across most industries and sizes have received this assignment from leadership this year. While talking to talent leaders over the past few months, I noticed some common actions leaders are taking to help them achieve this goal: * Automate time consuming administrative tasks - automated interview screening was a huge win this year. Others also implemented automated sourcing and matching tools to free up recruiter time. * Maximize the features and functionality of the tech tools you already have purchased. They were surprised to see features that were never turned on or updated versions never leveraged that they were already paying for. * Leverage your existing candidate pipelines in your ATS or CRM first, before advertising the role. This process change helped them place candidates faster, reduced costs, and increased recruiter productivity; freeing up time to focus on the harder to fill roles. * Audit the candidate experience. Identify where candidate drop off is occurring and create a mitigation plan. This helped increase advertising ROI. * Analyze your source data. Is your budget aligned with source results? Many found that they were overpaying for some programmatic sources that weren't delivering results. A redistribution set them up for better success. We know it's a balancing act! There's not always enough time in the day but, it can be so worth taking steps like these. If you don't have the time or manpower, leverage our time to save yours! It's what we do.
