𝐃𝐄𝐁𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐉𝐍𝐂𝐂 𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐉𝐔𝐏 The Debswana Joint Negotiation Consultative Committee (JNCC) recently visited the Jwaneng Underground Project (JUP) at Jwaneng Mine to gain insight into its purpose, significance, and progress. During the visit, project experts shared how JUP will enable the mine to transition from open-pit mining to underground operations. This shift will ensure the continued extraction of diamonds, extending the mine’s operational life well into the future. JUP is pivotal in sustaining Jwaneng Mine’s role as a major contributor to Botswana’s economy. Debswana remains committed to the project’s success, highlighting its importance for the company, the nation, and generations to come.

How exciting, the protective clothing now has underground headlamps. Reminds me of BCL. Well done on this progress and good look for the years ahead!

Best of luck
