Love this Wingstop Restaurants Inc. Went here for the first time over the weekend and saw their vision huge and proud on the wall. They are known for their chicken. Some even say they are the KFC alternative. But this says they are different. Clear. Transferable to new product ranges. I can see in the future... using the same sauces and spices they have in their range for chicken being extended to... 😋 falafels for a veggie option 😋 pork ribs 😋 fish nuggets/goujons 😋 even mozarella dippers OMG yes please The possibility is endless. Why? They nailed their vision. Well done Wingstop Restaurants Inc. Happy to be a taste taster 🙏🏼 What business are you in? #strategy #businessdevelopment #businessgrowth #businesscoaching

CHARCUTERIE | is the art of preparing and assembling cured meats, originating from French culinary tradition. It primarily involves meats like ham, sausages, pâté, and terrines, which are preserved through methods such as salting, smoking, or curing. Traditionally, charcuterie was developed as a way to extend the shelf life of meat, particularly pork. Nowadays, charcuterie is often presented as a charcuterie board, a popular appetizer or snack platter featuring an assortment of cured meats, cheeses, bread, crackers, fruits, nuts, and sometimes spreads like mustard or jams. It's a versatile and visually appealing way to serve food for gatherings or special occasions. #smokedmeat #curedmeat #dryaged #nuts #honey #quinoa

One of the world’s most sauce-covered dishes is, without a doubt, the hamburger! 🍔 Whether it’s the classic American-style burger or a gourmet version, burgers are always paired with a variety of sauces: ketchup, mayo, barbecue sauce, ranch, mustard, hot sauce… The list goes on! According to data from the National Restaurant Association, approximately 50 billion burgers are consumed annually in the U.S. alone, and a whopping 95% of them are served with multiple sauces. So, sauces not only enhance the flavor but also shape the identity of the burger itself. And it’s not just in the U.S.—the love for burgers and sauces is a global phenomenon. In fact, research by GlobalData shows that the demand for sauces in the European fast food market is growing by 7% each year, with ketchup and mayonnaise being the most popular choices. With so many options, finding the “perfect” sauce combo for your burger has become almost an art! #faida #hamburger #fastfoods #americanburger #sauce

When I started Gringuita Cookies in the summer of 2020, I had no idea what I was doing. I had never taken a business class in my life, had only recently returned to the US from Uruguay, where I had been living the previous two years, and didn't have the faintest idea of what industry I was entering (what the heck is CPG?). I had one goal, two words: Whole Foods. I might have been lacking knowledge, connections, and financial backing, but I did have experience selling my gourmet cookies for about a year while living in Montevideo (capital of Uruguay, stay with me people). I figured it'd be easier to start a business in English, my native language, than what I had been doing, which was marketing the cookies in Spanish, not my native language. Also, I was stuck in the US because, well, Covid. (Contrary to popular belief, I was not planning on leaving Uruguay, but came back to quarantine with my family for what I thought would be a couple of weeks. That clearly did not work out for me.) So how did I go from ground zero with no resources to landing my product on my dream retailer's shelves in under four years? -started with $3k (enough for rent in a shared commissary kitchen, some supplies, and ingredients). I only reinvested profit for the first ~3 years. -mixed over 4,000lbs of dough with my two hands before getting access to a commercial mixer -moved from the shared commissary to a catering company's kitchen, then to a bakery, where I was able to use their bakery equipment after hours. -joined every farmers market. Some weeks I popped up at 6 markets, rain or shine (emphasis on the rain). Sometimes there were two thousand people in attendance. Sometimes there were just two. -went from labeling my packaging with a Sharpie, to using colorful stickers, to the printed packaging you see today (I drew my logo, and the photos were taken with my right hand while I was holding the cookie in my left hand) -cold called the best gourmet markets in South Florida and started distributing to them myself. -received a small loan through Quickbooks and moved into my own commercial kitchen *sigh of relief* -was selected to be part of WFM's Local and Emerging Accelerator Program (LEAP). Over a thousand brands applied, only 10 were selected. (!!!) -passed my first SQF audit without hiring a consultant -onboarded with GFI, my first national distributor, and delivered two pallets, almost 1500lbs of dough -received my first equity investment upon completion of LEAP -sold out of each SKU in the Whole Foods in Palm Beach Gardens, which just so happens to be a few minutes down the road from my very first pop up back in the summer of 2020. You know the quote, “If you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right”? I’d like to change that to, “If you think you can, you’ll try.” Whether this will be a success story or not, it sure has made my life more interesting. Thank you to everyone who has helped, supported, and encouraged me along the way.
It's official! Gringuita Cookies bake-from-frozen dough is now available in 17 Whole Foods Market stores across South Florida!!! Run, don't walk, and pick up your favorite gourmet cookies in the frozen dessert section. THIS IS EXCITING!

What happened to the chicken sandwich wars? Well, they never went away, and with fast food chains now balancing value with variety, McDonald’s may have a secret sauce - a chicken version of the Big Mac. Two chicken patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles on a sesame seed bun...that's now on the menu. The Chicken Big Mac, which has been available in other countries including Canada (talk about northern exposure), will soon be available for a limited time here in the states. And outside of the poultry, the sandwich is the same as its older cousin with the beef. There is a fox in the henhouse, I mean, there is a catch. McDonald's is hoping the excitement surrounding new sandwich will attract customers without the need for discounts. Changes in the fast food industry come at a pivotal time. Customers are much more selective and price sensitive, which has had chains doling out value meals faster than you can say "Supersize me!" For McDonald's, recent marketing promotions and the $5 Meal Deal have helped boost restaurant traffic and mitigate negative publicity about pricing. No pressure, Chicken Big Mac! https://lnkd.in/g8KDJXXb #mcdonalds #fastfood #restaurant #food #culture #chickenbigmac #consumers

Happy Friday!! 😀 IT'S FOOTBALL🏈 SEASON!! Author | C. Knighten Recipe | The Pioneer Woman This is my favorite season.....football 🏈 season!! It not only heralds in the Fall 🍂 ....though it is brief here.....but it also brings with it warm and yummy comfort foods!! From lasagna, spaghetti to beef stew....there are lots of different foods that qualify! While nachos are a year-round favorite, this recipe is easy enough to share! Depending on the crowd you expect, I would probably plan for two to three pans full.....these are very yummy!! 😋 Grilled Barbecue Chicken Nachos!! Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes Yield: 8-10 INGREDIENTS: 🔺4 c. shredded rotisserie chicken (makes this easier) 🔺1 c. barbecue sauce 🔺1 12-ounce bag tortilla chips 🔺2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 🔺1/2 c. pickled jalapeños 🔺Sour cream, pico de gallo, sliced scallions, and sour cream, for topping DIRECTIONS: 1. Heat the shredded chicken with the barbecue sauce in a large skillet until hot and bubbling, about 10 minutes. 2. Spread half of the tortilla chips in the bottom of a large disposable aluminum baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the chicken mixture, 1 cup shredded cheddar and ¼ cup pickled jalapeños. Repeat with the remaining chips, chicken, cheese, and jalapeños. 3. Cover with foil and grill over medium-high heat until melted, about 10 minutes.
