🎧 Sound On! Today, Tree Fine sent me a podcast that talked about RivalFlow, and I was like - "Wow. This is really good - these people know their stuff. How did I not know this was happening - like, I should probably be a guest." Turns out it was NotebookLM (notebookLM.google.com) - Google's free new AI tool. You've got to check it out. So, I thought that Tree probably gave it a script or did some tweaking - but he told me "no - I just gave it our homepage and pricing page". Honestly, I figured he was probably simplifying. So, I tried it myself. I gave it our homepage, and a rough outline I've got for a presentation about the 🚀 550 improvements we've made to RivalFlow since launch. 🚀 The results blew me away. I now know this is AI - and so I feel like I can detect it. But, honestly, if I didn't know - I'd think this was a *very* high quality podcast. I then created a free account on Headliner.app to convert from audio to video to generate the transcripts and video thing you see here. What do you think? Google NotebookLM can turn any research paper into a podcast. AI tool that can generate podcasts of two speakers talking about the contents from various sources like research papers, articles, and more. Deddy Das from X created this 20min podcast from a 155 page report from Goldman Sachs on Generative AI in 2024 with Gen AI. He used NotebookLM for audio and Headliner for the video. Here's how to do it: 𝟭. 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Visit notebooklm.google.com. If you are logged into Google, it will log you in automatically. Click "Create" at the bottom, then select a file or drag and drop your document. 𝟮. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: Once the paper is uploaded, NotebookLM will provide you with a summary of the document. 𝟯. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁: Click the "Generate" button under "Audio Overview."
