💙Meet the faces behind our XpanDH X-NETS 🤝 The XpanDH project has been Xpanding several digital health ecosystems through its X-Nets.   But what are the X-nets? 🤔 The XpanDH X-Nets are networks of organized groups of stakeholders linked by similar interests, form the existing pan-European (Digital) Health space! The kid's health innovation category HLTH USA The Digital Health Hub Foundation - Digital Health Awards is one of the most exciting because of the needs, and specific structure: Parents add a unique intermediary (not unlike caregivers for older patients), that confound the approach: If you segment the categories of problems from the parent perspective, it falls something like: 1) The parents do everything “right” to treat their kids and need additional tools for convenience or getting past a pediatritions schedule. 2) The parents might not be educated (medically or common sense wise) enough to understand when there is an error. E.g. perfecting peds—or when there are prescription errors and parents don’t catch for whatever reason. 3) Parents don’t know there is an issue. Let's take a strong look and categorize whether issues are parent related, pediatrician related, or tool related.  These lead in to the types of focus, investment, and feasibility in terms of technical development. I absolutely loved this Industry Report prepared by Otsuka Precision Health, Inc. (OPH)and HLTH Inc. Super valuable resources as we go into 2025 planning. Two points especially resonated: 1 - The emphasis on the shift from "patient" terminology to "individual" terminology. Patients receive care. The health of an "individual" is impacted by a multitude of factors and interactions that often go unmeasured. Individuals are becoming more active and empowered in their health journeys with information, technology and choice at their fingertips. The shift suggests a movement from passive participant to active participant in one's health outcomes. 2 - The Patient Experience vs. The Health Experience. The Health Experience takes a broader view into the prioritization of lifestyle choices, mental health, prevention, proactive care and more. A consideration of the Health Experience enables a more proactive approach towards health and care vs. a reactive approach. Highly recommend checking this one out!

Healthcare professionals are burdened by multiple data sources, IT systems and administrative processes making it more difficult to select the right information in time for any specific patient. By using disease-centric and intuitive applications, SYMPHONY will create an open ecosystem that empowers medical professionals with comprehensive insights into a patient’s status, integrating all relevant information enabling better diagnosis, treatment decisions, and follow-up care for patients.
