Following the successful signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Suleyman Demirel University, the opportunities regarding the ongoing collaboration and the enhancement of internship programs with S&O have been discussed. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to do an internship at the European Affairs Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina through the Center for Career Development and Professional Practice. During my internship, I had the privilege of getting to know the management team of this company, as well as the business activities of the company itself. Through various content, I became familiar with important projects that the EU is implementing around the world, including our country. In the practical part, the mentor assigned us the following activity: using different materials, we need to create promotional material for the main EU institutions. During the creation of the activity, I applied the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired at the faculty from the subject "EU trade and investment". 🙂 #certificate #professional_practice #business_school #EU

In 2007, the National Policy Framework for Teacher Education and Development (NPFTED) established clear pathways for career advancement in the education sector. Notably, Section 39 of the NPFTED outlined diverse opportunities for professional growth. As an innovative initiative, the Teacher Internship Collaboration South Africa (TICZA) is significantly advancing the discourse on teacher career development pathways.

NEW TICZA PUBLICATION: In 2024 the Teacher Internship Collaboration South Africa (TICZA) launches the Implementation Compendium, intended as a web-based collection and archive of knowledge produced within the TICZA collective. The Implementation Compendium consists of an array of short contributions that describe, examine and engage with activities and processes aligned with extended student teacher internships. Contributions are authored by one or more stakeholder that has been part of the collective impact project. The first issue of the Implementation Compendium series provides a basis from existing policy for why ‘extended student teacher internship’ is preferred to ‘internship’ and ‘component supporting teacher education pathway’ a more accurate description of the activities and processes than ‘alternative teacher education pathway’. In collaboration with our partner, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the FACT Centre, and the SEEC office conducted an informative session, serving as a platform for NU students to explore the Y-med internship program in Italy and its selection process. The discussion provided an introduction to the program, highlighting its objectives and alignment with fostering skills-based mobility partnerships in the Mediterranean region. Partnership details were discussed, outlining the roles of IOM, Nile University's FACT Centre, and the SEEC office in facilitating the internship and supporting participants. Selection criteria were detailed, covering academic qualifications, skills, experiences, and other relevant factors, emphasizing the importance of meeting eligibility requirements and demonstrating commitment. The session underscored the benefits of participation, emphasizing how the internship experience could enhance students' academic and professional growth. Six-Month Internship At SANBI: The Groen Sebenza Phase II Programme The Groen Sebenza Phase II Programme is a bridging into work programme. GS Phase II aims to recruit 1050 unemployed graduates (Diploma - PhD level) and place them nationally in different organisations (government and non-governmental) where they will be incubated (trained and mentored) to further develop their competence and confidence in the management of environment/biodiversity.
