CriticalPath (https://crpath.app) is an advanced mobile app profiler for #Android. Its primary goal is to optimize app performance and enhance its speed. It also serves as an excellent debugging tool. The main distinction between CriticalPath and existing tools, such as Perfetto and the Android Studio Profiler, is its ability to synchronize the trace with a video recording of your app. This feature allows you to view the app’s user experience alongside what’s happening internally, helping to identify what causes slowdowns. Another significant feature is the ability to click on any slice and view the cross-thread execution path of function calls. This traces from a user action to the selected slice, making it easier to pinpoint performance regressions, such as slow functions, suboptimal network calls, or functions that clog the main thread. Additionally, our smart code instrumentation has a minimal impact on performance. How many screen designs are needed for one complex web app? It depends on the app, of course. However, general things do need to be covered: – Login – Dialogs – Settings – Dashboard – Onboarding – Tabular views of data – Map/flowchart views of data In the case of Datricks, I designed about 74 screens.
