Demia’s Post

🌍 Exciting Update! Demia is thrilled to be a key partner in the #BlockchainForSustainability roundtable, uniting #sustainability experts, #blockchain innovators, and #EU policymakers. As part of this, we've made a joint submission to Cardano Foundation through their Cardano Community #ProjectCatalyst. This collaboration marks an important step towards building a transparent and efficient global carbon market, where blockchain technology is used for secure data availability, playing a critical role in addressing key environmental challenges like #carbontracking, #energyefficiency, and combating #greenwashing. 🔗 The roundtable, to be held in Brussels, is part of our mission to streamline certification processes and ensure that environmental projects are valued with integrity and accuracy. With partners like Mariana de la Roche Wills, Razali Samsudin, and Dr. Joachim Schwerin of the European Commission, we’re working together to shape the future of blockchain in sustainability, in alignment with the #EUBlockchainManifesto previously published by European Blockchain Association e.V., Blockchain for Europe, European Crypto Initiative, and INATBA - International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications. 🌱 At Demia, our vision is to secure data, reduce friction, and unlock value in the global carbon market. This event reinforces our commitment to driving impactful environmental projects through transparency and innovation. We look forward to sharing a detailed report with actionable recommendations from the discussions. Together, let’s accelerate the transition to a sustainable and transparent future. 💡 https://lnkd.in/epkkUBuM #BlockchainForSustainability #SustainabilityInnovation #CarbonTracking #GlobalCarbonMarket #Demia #EUCommission #ClimateAction
