Rene demonstrated how leveraging this real-time data can supercharge training sessions and skyrocket player performance. 🗓️ Strategic Timing: Understanding the importance of timing is crucial. From MD+1 to MD-3, each day plays a vital role. Rene detailed how to tailor monitoring strategies based on these timings, optimizing performance at every stage. 🏋️Parameters:What do they monitor? Everything from max speed to recovery metrics. It's a holistic approach aimed at fine-tuning every aspect of player development. 📈 Live Monitoring: It's not just about post-session analysis; live monitoring adds a whole new dimension. Rene shared insights on when and how to implement real-time tracking for maximum impact. ⚽ Adaptability:Every player is different, and so are their needs. Rene's discussion on adapting monitoring strategies showcased the flexibility required for success in sports science. 🔄 Panel Discussion & Q&A: Engaging with industry experts and exchanging ideas was incredibly enriching. One of the unheralded contributions to New Zealand’s outstanding medal success in Paris is the work of HPSNZ’s Goldmine Innovation team, with 16 of the 20 Olympic medals involving innovation projects. This team worked on 63 projects for summer sports across the Paris cycle. 2024 welcomed the 4th year of Sky Sports’ partnership with the Women’s Sport Collective 🤝 With a shared mission to work towards a more inclusive and gender-equal sports industry, this year, following a successful pilot, the Fresh Perspectives Programme was born.
